Stop for lunch at this super little place! Delicious schiacciata, nice and crispy, hot, and made with excellent ingredients. The waiters were super fast, knowledgeable, kind, and smiling! We were able to eat inside, but if you prefer, you can easily eat while strolling through the central streets of San Gimignano. The restaurant overlooks the main square.

Best sandwich we've ever had in Italy! 🤤 Just the smell of focaccia and freshly cut meat in the entrance of the store was worth the trip! The burrata, mortadella, pistachio cream and truffle cream, what delights! I even bought the truffle cream from the neighboring store. A place not to be missed! 👌🏻 I loved the style of the store too!

Great location in Piazza della Cisterna. Delicious sandwiches that were sufficiently huge with wonderful bread and they were not overpriced. Service was quick. Inside is not large but we had room for our group of 10.

23/09/2025: Absolutely a two-Michelin-star dinner. Heinz Beck's sous chef is the chef. The dishes are exceptional, ecstatic. An incredible experience.

A special location, a village on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and Lazio, and the chef was on top of his game like never before in showcasing the local ingredients. The tasting was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish had something unique to offer, even the smallest bite. I would have said it was impossible to rank in order of goodness, because the extremely high quality of the suckling pig, the sea bass, and the scampi were all on par. But alas, all the courses had to capitulate in the face of the foie gras, an absolute masterpiece, an explosion of flavors, textures, and even temperatures, sublime, enhanced by the stellar pairing of the white wine we were offered... When you leave, the only thought is what the autumn menu will be like. Many thanks to the chef, the sommelier, and the entire team, young but truly knowledgeable, unobtrusive yet always present...

Tradition and small but intense flashes of originality blended perfectly to create exquisite dishes that truly rival those of Michelin-starred restaurants. Service. Don't you dare compliment the chef alone, he's unique, let's be clear! The Signora's service is as distinctive and intense as the delicious meal she delivers with her unique grace. The dynamic between the two is reminiscent of the hilarious Vianello couple. By the way, don't bother trying to make reservations—"We don't take reservations here," replies the Signora—and don't bother trying to find out when you can come back for dinner—"How would I know?! And what am I supposed to do, get the gentlemen eating to stand up and make room for you." Wonderful. For those who don't understand the Lazio humor, she's extremely kind and always available to her customers. Atmosphere. As the name suggests, it's a small delicatessen. Very welcoming and tastefully decorated to feel like a little cottage. And that's how you feel, at home. In short, the best lunch I've had in 2025.
