High-class tavern in the historic district of Palermo. well-kept place with traditional objects and some more architectural additions. I would just see a few ceramic objects that appeared damaged or torn. Quality food with generous portions. Mention for the Sfincione, excellent and tasty m. The only flaw is the too limited choice of desserts. Only three options for a quality restaurant on a Saturday evening are very few. Friendly, smiling and present staff. Absolutely recommended!

Average restaurant. The staff was very kind, it was just a pity that we had a The Fork discount, correctly applied, but the price was certainly increased as we had taken the first one of the day which was off the menu and of which we did not know the price (alas) but which must have contained fresh red prawns, and instead he had simple calamari, at the modest sum of €22 each. The cannoli is excellent.

We had the opportunity to get to know the place by coming to visit the church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti. We had a great time with both the food and the staff, in particular Giuseppe, who was very kind and friendly with his information on Palermo. Thanks to him we went to visit the Zisa palace which we didn't know about. We are therefore back here. And we were happy with everything. If we were to return to Palermo, we are Ligurians from Diano Marina in the province of Imperia, we will definitely return to this place. Thank you . See you next time Fiorenzo and Giuseppina

Warm and welcoming place set in a breathtaking urban context. The cuisine is simply excellent with truly fresh food thanks to the constant and daily attention of the owners towards their customers. The pizza is superb. Possibility to have lunch also in the garden. It is a place that once discovered, will remain in first place in your choices.

21/08/2024: The food was enjoyable, and the tasting menu was ample enough to satisfy, but there are better value options in Palermo. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. While some waiters were more professional, our main server was unenthusiastic and mumbling when describing the dishes. Despite informing him of my friend’s onion allergy, the main course still arrived with a whole onion in the center of the plate. The atmosphere was excellent, and they have a terrace. However, requesting an outdoor table during booking seems pointless, as we overheard other guests being told the terrace was full, even though they had specifically requested it in advance.
18/08/2024: I had one of the most amazing meals of my life here. I visited L’ottava nota while visiting Palermo. I wish i could live here long enough to become a regular at this restaurant. I had the seven course tasting menu along with the seven wine pairings. All the courses were incredibly delicious and all but one had me making happy food noises. The wine pairings elevated and matched the food perfectly. I never imagined that truffle ice cream could be part of an appetizer course and take three delicious dishes (foi gras, raw tuna, and beet) to a level I had never imagined. This course will live in my mind forever.

01/09/2024: We tried this splendid restaurant on the recommendation of a local and I must say that we had one of the most beautiful evenings. I want to start from the location, it has a veranda on the lower floor, another middle floor all well-kept and very welcoming and then the terrace, where the owner had us accompanied by the dining room staff, super enchanting with a sea view. The menu is vast and difficult to choose given that the dishes appeal to everyone, but thanks to the super friendly, competent and professional dining room staff we were given the best possible advice. We took a mixture of raw meats, the freshest and best I've ever eaten, Two hot appetizers and two wonderful first courses, with lots of fish and above all tasty. At the end we had the opportunity and pleasure to exchange a few words with the owner, a humble, kind and also very professional person. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.
