By chance I ended up in this restaurant in Anzio, these are fortunes that don't happen often in life and it is right to let others participate too, we are in Anzio, a seaside city, but also of Nero, therefore the place where Roman cuisine marries with fish cuisine, I chose the typical Roman appetizers, coratella, beans and many other delicacies, my wife the fish appetizer, many small tastings with many small plates as we like, then an infinite choice of first courses and second courses, both Roman and fish, the fabulous freshly baked cereal bread, the homemade desserts, everything is homemade and refined, elegantly and pleasantly presented by the owner and his daughter, fantastic people, kind and helpful, the environment is very beautiful, with a large veranda overlooking the external garden, the very warm and pleasant internal room, where in the evening you can taste the real Pinsa, the Roman pizza with long leavening, and cooked in a wood fire, very digestible and seasoned in different ways. incredible, so I will return to be pampered by them, because I still have many things to taste, and I will recommend it to all my friends, today they made me eat some delicacies that made my day, in the afternoon I had a condominium meeting and strangely I haven't argued, probably thanks to them, if you also have a meeting
in the afternoon, I recommend you go for lunch in this fabulous restaurant, known in Roman style as "if you eat well and spend little". 2000 years have passed since Nero set Rome on fire, if he had eaten in this restaurant before, he certainly would not have done so...

I arrived in this alley, encouraged by a friend who was spending his holidays in a nearby campsite, knew the owner and the fact that he could often have lunch and dinner at a fast price, although recognizing that the price was lower than the quality, he was doubtful whether to book for Saint Valentine. Then informed that in addition to the Saint of Lovers, the 100th anniversary of Garbatella was being celebrated, and that the entire Di Benedetto family was there, we made a reservation. Flute of Prosecco, mussels, clams, spaghetti with lobster and mushrooms, fried fish and a beautiful allegory next to it, a package of fish, steamed sole, with clams, but the wonder was that it was wrapped. The orchestra, with Califano, Ferri and Roman songs, was the backdrop to a Falanghina, who prepared the palate for crumbles... The service was worthy, young, but also youthful, with a smile from times gone by and a particular mention goes to them, who brought enthusiasm and friendliness in an evening in which we expect the usual "package" and are satisfied with having paid only 25 euros, but perhaps for this amount we should have only received music...I will come back to you if it happens to you, try to prove me wrong!

Lovely family business. Quite characterful cuisine. Even though menu is packed, not many differentiated options, what we had was just gorgeous. I loved their cozze- phantastic. Very good spaghetti ai vongole. The fried fish and Boscaiola were also very good. The only problem I had is that the food was abundant. Smiling and hospitable couple. Go on

Siamo stati a pranzo all'Osteria Villa Rugantino,ed era tutto ottimo.
Falle cozze,al primo,e per finire la frittura.
Non male anche il vino.
Eccellente parlare con Maurizio ed essere serviti al tavolo dalla Signora.
