Villa Pitiana Restaurant In Reggello

Great building and outdoor area, we got a cozy family room with air conditioning, breakfast was great even if refills were slow when things ran out. Rooms were cleaned nicely and replenished with toilet paper and towels well. Lovely pool, even if it was worn. Both inside and out it is a little worn, should have been looked after a little better, because this really is a beautiful place. Nice people who work here, although some are a bit reserved and don't smile as much. WiFi only downstairs in the hall. A bit rugged and a long way down to the pool, so not very suitable for people with weak legs.

This villa had beautiful views of the Tuscan hills and the interior was gorgeous as well. The restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast had so many great, fresh options! Having a pool was so key given how hot it was when we stayed. My biggest problem was that there was no AC at all and wifi didn’t work in the rooms and no service available as well, which was frustrating. My sister suffered heat stroke during the day and was unable to get any relief due to the heat in the room. This was very deceiving given the fact it advertises AC as available. Therefore, we opened our windows to try to let in fresh air but woke up covered in bug bites. The shower had mould in it and needs to be cleaned more throughly. We were met with a man who was apparently working the overnight shift; however, we were uncertain if he actually worked there because he was very unhelpful, off- putting and due to his lack of professional attire (baggy sweatpants and unkept shirt). We had to check out at 6am and he was smoking in the lobby and tried to charge me the full amount after I already paid prior to arriving instead of the remaining balance that was bolded at the bottom. He had no idea what he was doing; he couldn’t speak any English either, which made any communication very difficult. I loved the place outside of our room but not the room itself.

The first impression when you arrive at the property and enter the house is impressive. The breakfast room is incredibly great. The pool is big and getting old but ok. We had the suit on two levels with a balcony - the room was correspondingly nostalgic due to the age of the house - but despite everything, it was worn out and would urgently need renovation. The carpet in the upper area is dirty, the wall is probably swollen from the air conditioning - the bathroom is really old and the grout in the shower is moldy.

Spectacular place, I would return without a doubt. I only have one drawback, in the dining room you need to put the air conditioning higher.

Nice and no regrets, but know what you are booking. The rooms are spacious and beautiful to experience, but know that there is no WiFi in the rooms and the bathrooms are really not up to par. Brown water came out of the tap and in addition the pontoon tank was broken and therefore smelled. The mold would also need to be addressed. The location was beautiful and quiet. The service not really enthusiastic. Many events are organized, which causes far too much nuisance, especially in the monastery area. The view is great and the whole thing is beautifully authentic. Good food, a bit expensive.

Charming hotel, a little old and very removed from everywhere.

Location, building and atmosphere very good. Let me put it this way, swimming pool, dirty pool. Many chemicals make the walls greasy and need to be replaced. The water was also greasy. Sunbeds have been in need of replacing for years. We slept under the roof, which is called poorly functioning air conditioning.

Fabulous place in the Tuscan countryside.

Villa pitiana è un vero viaggio nel tempo.questo monastero di 800 anni fa si presenta nel verde della bella Toscana,ricco di alberi secolari e rarissimi come l abete coreano di cui allego foto,la reception inquadra subito il gusto di quella che è la struttura,tipica della zona,mobili antichi di pregio,pareti mantenute con pittura dei tempi e così anche il pavimento.ho pernottato una sola notte e non ho avuto modo di assaporare la loro cucina,ho solo qualche piccola attenzione da rivolgere riguardo l igiene,la piscina era sporca, e la camera aveva polvere sui comodini,insomma non vi era aria fresca e pulita 😅 abbiamo fatto colazione una sola volta e vi è vasta scelta e anche di qualità.posto bellissimo
