For a chill & relaxful atmosphere with a breathtaking view of Florence city.
La Loggia is the best place to be, and it never disappoints.
From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, the best meal i ever had in Italy.
Service was delightful and very professional.
Staffs are friendly and the prizing it's 💯 worth it.

This was the worst experience I've had in Florence so far. There was an event on the terrace, it was cold outside, so we sat inside the restaurant, which had a cheap bistro atmosphere and no view of the square. The service was outright bad, the food was so poor that we asked to change our dish (the cod was dry and the sauce tasteless). We were offered a replacement dish, pasta with truffle, which was even worse than the first dish - overcooked pasta, peppery, and almost no taste of pecorino cheese. Two dishes were added to the bill, one with a 50% discount that the waiter didn't mention. I called the manager, and he removed the dish from the menu. We were left disappointed.

Ideally it is one of the best places to taste the meat of Florence, which keeps its heat thanks to the slate, if you go up to this restaurant on foot, you will have well deserved it 😉
Beyond that we came because it is one of the filming locations for Batman The Dark Knight Rises. But the waiter told us no and that we were in the wrong country... Without care and without further details.... Apart from the relationship with the customer which needs to be reviewed, the rest, the meat, told us you're stuck and the view for dessert is magnificent. A moment that will remain engraved in our memory.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives locally.
Watching the sunset from the stairs is romantic, but
It was so hot and tiring, but when I went into this restaurant at the reservation time, the scenery was nice and cool.
I sat comfortably eating the food that was served and it was so delicious. Even though it's a famous tourist spot, it didn't feel too expensive, and above all, the taste was very, very good.
Even months later, watching Florence at sunset while enjoying a meal with wine remains a good memory.

Excellent choice! I'm glad I stopped and are here. I chose to sit in the restaurant, not the outside bistro. You need to get a good feel and experience by sitting inside with the art work.

This is surely a tourist spot but it has a lot going for it. A prime location & a view top the list. We picked it for purely for convenience after a long day. We were pleasantly surprised. The seating was confusing (seat yourself? wait to be seated? which side? two different menus?) but once we were settled w/ the correct menu in hand we could relax. We ordered pasta w/ ragu, Caesar salad with chicken and eggplant parmesan. We were surprised that everything was served at the same time (we expected courses) and by the large portions. High marks for taste, but the eggplant was over salted. Service was pleasant and they bent over backwards to try to figure out the broken heater near our table. Overall better than we expected.
