We ended up here completely by chance, and were pleasantly surprised. We hadn't booked, and didn't want a full meal due to breakfast being very late. We asked if an aperitif was possible, and they seated us overlooking the river. The courtesy of the staff and the welcome were perfect, as was the environment. I took a glass of white wine, let the owner choose, it was served to me at the perfect temperature and the bottle was opened in front of me (much appreciated), my adventure companion really enjoyed her cocktail. All accompanied by some improvised appetizers especially for us. I can't comment on the menu because I haven't tried it yet. We will definitely come back to try it!

Festeggiato comunione della figlia di una mia amica.... location carina ma un po' passata...scomoda per il parcheggio... Pranzo senza lode e senza infamia, porzione del secondo piatto scarpetta.... Ho chiesto il bis del sorbetto e mi è stato risposto che era finito...come si fa a fare il sorbetto contato???

I haven't been here to eat in a long time. I had wonderful memories and fortunately my expectations were not disappointed. The place is still, although not excessively, very elegant. Background music that doesn't disturb the conversation, tables set perfectly. The owners are lovely people, they explain the dishes and make you feel at ease. The food is excellent, homemade bread and breadsticks, excellent quality raw materials. An experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

I ate at Pio's last Sunday for the end-of-season lunch of the National Cycling Society. Pointing out that I am a vegetarian, I was highly pampered! Simple but well-finished dishes! The staff was very attentive and kind! Thank you with all my heart! Super refined environment, very bright with a wonderful view! I will definitely come back

I was a guest on Saturday 9th for the wedding of two of my dear friends in this restaurant, and I was won over. I start with the appreciation for the enchanting place, quiet, surrounded by nature, I continue with the courtesy and professionalism of all the staff Being vegan I found a specific menu for my diet, high quality food cooked and served in a perfect way. The restaurant is clean, bright, the service was attentive and thoughtful, you can see when people work with passion. I recommend it to those looking for a high-class environment but without pomposity.

I really liked the restaurant! Heartwarming! Tasty! They bake amazing homemade bread and grissini themselves :) We will definitely come back in the summer!!!

We celebrated our wedding on Saturday 9/11/24, everything was excellent. Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent food and Mr. Mario of great professionalism. Highly recommended. Well done!!!!

Down the memory lane, an institution in the area reborn by the new management. Fantastic location, along the Ticino, elegant mis en place, lots of exposed beams, well-spaced tables, a memorable table by Celentano and Muti. Basic but well constructed wine list, the Cerasuolo had a great QP ratio. Quality ingredients with online preparation. Basic but perfect Piedmontese fried food, the elephant's ear is superb, the cod ravioli with pepper cream is very good. Maccheroncini with duck ragù good but too dominated by the orange. Space tarte tatin. Side note on the Highlander Waiter with his immense friendliness and professionalism, he was there at my aunt's wedding, he was there at my cousin's confirmation, he was there at my cousin's wedding, he was there for my great-grandmother's 100th birthday, it was there for my father's 90th birthday. If this isn't tradition...

Top...everything deserves 10...

Consiglio... veramente una cena perfetta..... gustato una tartare favolosa.... filetto alla Rossini meritevole di un'altra serata...bravi , gentilissimi e con Bruno che è delizioso....anche il caffè ottimo.
