For a company dinner, excellent location, good food, drinks, and cool at sunset

We stopped here as part of a ebike tour. All the food was delicious and very well presented. It was cool to see the wine cellar and see the barrels and concrete spaces that they make the wine in. If we had been ae to sit and overlook the hills and vineyard the atmosphere would have been better. The space next to the road wasn't terrible but the other side would have been better. The wine was good too.

It was really nice to go there because you feel comfortable, like you're at home. The food is delicious, especially the tagliolini with Tuscan ragù 😋

We had dinner at this restaurant. The place is beautiful. It always has been, but the current management has enhanced it even more: the aperitif on the vineyards is a must-try. Unfortunately, the dinner did not go very well: the staff was not attentive and not very prepared (only one person capable of doing his job), the menu was not very summery, the duck breast was overcooked, too much waiting between one course and another and for the bill. The positive things besides the place: excellent tartare, good wine selection, a discount for the excessive wait. We will return for an aperitif. There are not enough parking spaces on the weekend.

Wonderful, great food and excellent service, fair price. Maybe they need some garden fans. Highly recommended.

Il Borgo è un luogo piacevole e la visita alla dimora di Machiavelli è una buona idea. Ho trovato un po' di trascuratezza nei luoghi (soprattutto nei giardini forse per la commistino tra commercio e arte) e il personale che si trasferisce dal ristorante principale alla "terrazza degli aperitivi" non genera un buon servizio (forse il luogo si dedica a più eventi non separati tra di loro). Lo spritz era buono, ma te lo devi portare al tavolo e non ti danno neppure due patatine d'accompagnamento (lo fanno anche in bar anonimi). Il cibo del ristorante principale era buono, ma la cura del cliente è altra cosa. Il locale con questi saloni immensi poco arredati e personalizzati, non mi piaceva; abbiamo scelto di pranzare fuori nel piazzaletto con il pozzo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto ed un secondo. Ho ordinato un filetto e mi è stato portato quasi cotto (se il cameriere me lo avesse chiesto forse lo avrei voluto "al sangue", ma l'attesa è stata abbondante e non ho voluto chiedere di rifarlo). Ho sentito personale imprecare e dire parole maleducate ad alta voce e ciò non è bello davanti ai clienti (tra colleghi ci possono essere diverbi, ma ti isoli e cerchi di contenere l'ira in pubblico). Nessuno che ti chiede se hai pranzato bene, neppure quando paghi il conto ... Peccato, a volte basta poco, soprattutto se hai già un gioiello per le mani!
