A good place for a meal after a visit to Villa D’Este. The pasta and veal steak are good. The fresh lemon and orange juices are mixed with water.

I confess I was a bit skeptical about this restaurant, located across from the entrance to Villa d'Este. I thought it was the usual tourist-oriented establishment, where they try to adapt their dishes to their clientele's tastes. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised because I was able to enjoy traditional Roman cuisine, impeccably cooked and in generous portions. The wait times were reasonable, considering that all dishes are freshly prepared and nothing is pre-cooked. The service staff was very courteous, explaining the dishes and advising us on their menus based on our needs. The prices are decidedly reasonable, especially considering the restaurant's location. My experience was definitely positive, and I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

27/10/2025: Well it was definetly unique experience. I've been traveling whole night and to be honest from the very start they put me in a good mood 🤣❤️. It's a bit of a chaos but I really enjoyed it. Food was tasty, service in it's own way, amazing. The waiter behaved like we were old friends and just kept talking to us even tho neither my friend or me speak that good Italian, tho the idea has gotten through. He made us laugh on many occasions. There's the "crazy lady" that sings while working and tbh I didn't mind it for me it's a charm of the place. It's just next to Bus termini which is why it was my very first stop in Rome! And what a way to start my trip! Atmosphere is amazing and unique with vintage style that makes you feel like you've gone back in time. Thank you will definitely come back again.
