Villa Elda In Assisi

Visited during the Easter period. The hotel is beautiful, a little dated, but it fits the style of the area. The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

A good hotel for a night or two while exploring Assisi. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms (although ours didn't have working air conditioning, which fortunately wasn't a problem in late September). The meals were tasty, though not very varied. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

From here, the Francigena Route will take you to the emblematic sanctuaries of Assisi. Here, visitors will find kindness, warmth, tranquility, gardens for children to play in, and a good restaurant. The pork ribs and grilled potatoes are highly recommended, as is the traditional dessert called Crescionda. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

A get-together with friends: I based myself at this property for its convenient location, walking distance, and for its objectively competitive price. It's not like it's been chosen by countless tourists and pilgrims, who, practically right outside the gates, are just a few kilometers from the iconic sites of Assisi. The room I stayed in is rustic in style but absolutely functional. Despite the crowds—everywhere was full, thank goodness I booked early—I slept very well. I didn't have the chance to try the cuisine. Breakfast is simple and classic. Price is in line, without being excessive, with this highly touristy area.

Excellent structure, located close to everything, you also eat very well.

Hotel located in a convenient area from which you can take a bus to Assisi. Tickets can be purchased at the reception. It has parking for guests. Rooms with air conditioning and TV. New, comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Furniture a little dated. Restaurant that applies a 10% discount to hotel guests. Carefully prepared and good quality dishes. Follow the advice to visit some lesser-known villages that will be given to you. From the hotel you can reach, after a walk, both the lively center of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Porziuncola.
