Villa Elda In Assisi

We stayed at the Hotel Restaurant Villa Elda for 3 nights and it was a truly pleasant experience. Since our arrival we were welcomed with great cordiality by all the staff, always available and attentive to the needs of the guests. A really important plus was finding the room ready at 9:30 in the morning, an attention that we greatly appreciated. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, tidy and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Every morning we were able to enjoy a plentiful and very varied breakfast, with fresh products and options for all tastes. The hotel's location is strategic: it is located on the plain below Assisi, in a quiet but comfortable setting. It is possible to reach the Basilica of San Francesco on foot, with a walk of about 40 minutes uphill, or comfortably with the bus/shuttle whose stop is a few steps from the hotel. We undoubtedly recommend Villa Elda to those looking for a clean, welcoming and well-positioned base for visiting Assisi and its surroundings. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel on the outside, large room and comfortable bed, slightly dated bathroom without bidet, very courteous staff, decent food; excellent location, very close to the Basilica of Assisi.

Calling it a 2-star hotel is truly an understatement. The cleanliness of the rooms and furnishings were excellent. The crowded restaurant is synonymous with good quality, which I have personally ascertained. I always recommend booking. The room was always at the right temperature even if it was freezing outside. The staff in the dining room and at the reception were very kind. Panorama of Assisi which fully justifies the name of the structure. Well connected to both Assisi and S. Maria degli Angeli. I will definitely return, perhaps in spring for a dip in the pool

Having stumbled upon it by chance, after a running race, we enjoyed the wonderful cuisine, snails in sauce, lamb coratella, hare pappardelle, etc. Everything delicious and the staff is fabulous!!
