30/04/2025: We are in Ariano Irpino in a small and delightful trattoria. They welcomed us in a sublime way not only with excellent manners but above all with professionalism and dedication. We started lunch with an appetizer: pancotto with broccoli and anchovy sauce, delicious 😋, culatello that melted in your mouth... without words. We continued the meal with grilled lamb with pan-fried chicory, not only very fresh but with a "garden in the back" flavor. Grilled steak cooked in blue accompanied at the table by potatoes cooked on the grill... delicious combination. All inebriated by an excellent primitivo from Manduria. Grand finale with a dessert created by the chef with buffalo ricotta, chocolate chips and pistachios with a drop of elderberry. Delicious strawberries with a very sweet and timeless flavour...here I really "recreated myself": Aglianico passito with pieces of dark chocolate and cantuccini...excellence. We thank Flavio, the owner and Claudio the waiter... It's very true we entered as Brontolo and left as Mammolo... thank you very much 😘
