Viel In Milano

Viel in the Precotto area is a wonderful discovery for me. I've always frequented the one on Corso Buenos Aires, but since I've lived in the area, I wanted to try it with some friends, and I must say I immediately felt at home. It's an extremely welcoming, clean, and tidy place, with countless delicious options—both sweet and savory—from breakfast to lunch, aperitivo, and dinner. It's the perfect place any time of day, and once you're inside, time literally stands still. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the staff is always smiling and helpful. The only real "problem" when you walk in is choosing: between smoothies, juices, ice creams, pastries, cakes, toast, croque monsieur, and salads, there's an incredible variety of fresh and delicious products that makes you want to try everything. A place you absolutely must try... and one you'll want to return to!

I go there often and they have excellent products, starting with the gelato. The staff is also incredibly kind.

Okay. The espresso was delicious. The ice cream was also okay.

One of my favorite spots in the world. Friendly service, wonderful ice cream, juice, and treats. Good coffee too! You can't go wrong stopping here if you want something.

Today, "reverse cannoli." For me, Facebook and Instagram can also be windows into wonder, opportunities for wonder, not mere cesspools of stupidity, where poisoned beings can unload their excrements. Social media can be a better place than a cramped square devoted to what Heidegger called Gerede, "inane chatter." So this isn't a publication that shows what I eat or drink. It's a tribute to an artist, my friend Tao, capable of making everything he touches with his hands special, beautiful, and delicious. Months and months where a simple "do it yourself" stimulates his creativity and good taste. Wonderful guys.

Excellent gelato and very kind staff. Even though the place closed at 8:00 PM, I showed up outside at 8:30 PM just in time to buy a tub of gelato to take to dinner. The owner purposely raised the shutters of the already closed place so I could accommodate my order. For all this, 6 stars.
