Viel Gelateria In Viareggio

Not my favorite, it seems a bit chemical, but for chemical lovers it's ok

It was Sunday evening, admittedly, but a very long line formed, and there was only one person serving and simultaneously taking receipts and orders at the cafe. Both the coffee and the ice cream were excellent, the atmosphere is very well-kept and clean, and there are several tables outside.

The ice cream is delicious, and the pink whipped cream adds a touch of beauty. The flavors are unique (American-style, like Kinder, Raffaello, salted caramel, etc.). The ice cream cone is truly delicious, and I don't think I've ever had better ice cream.

The ice cream was delicious, light, and flavorful. The coffee was also excellent! Great seating on the patio. We'll definitely be back.

Confident, I went despite the score, but unfortunately I have to confirm what I wrote: ambiguous prices, scoop-sized gelato (so not much), but the worst thing is the quality: one flavor is frozen like it's from the freezer, while the other is too runny :/ Tastes a bit chemical in my opinion. The little place is nice in itself, but maybe just for a coffee! Ad maiora!

Very good gelato, and yogurt too. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced for a place on the Viareggio seafront.

Great ice cream shop on the Viareggio seafront with seating…. there were 10 of us and we were kindly welcomed by the owner who immediately made herself available to prepare a table for us to sit down… my experience contradicts the negative comments because as I said before the owner was helpful and the rest of the staff was always smiling…. the prices considering that it is a tourist area I think are normal and that is a cup of ice cream with fruit (and by cup I mean the glass one) is around 9.00 euros and finally we were immediately informed of the possible increase resulting from using the seat instead of "eating" it to take away….. I forgot to take a photo of the ice cream (very good) but on the other hand I have the photo of the gin and tonic that I had (because I went back there) the next day as an aperitif… I will definitely go back ☺️

Honestly pretty good! And idk about others experience, but the staff were all nice both times we went.

If I could add more stars, Mrs. Valeria's ice cream is the best ever, not to mention her super colored cream like the love she puts into her artisanal ice cream. I recommend putting a sign outside the ice cream shop that indicates with super stars the goodness of her ice cream
