The service was very cold, sometimes even annoyed. The food: the appetizer and dessert were good, and the risotto was completely devoid of salt.

An intimate place to eat in peace

If you're trying to decide where to eat in Mondoví, the answer is really simple: Vicolo Corto, a surefire choice. I've been to this truly beautiful and welcoming little restaurant. The menu is short, which I personally appreciate, as I find it a truly thoughtful choice. I ordered a risotto with creamed pumpkin and gorgonzola (with the added bonus of toasted pumpkin seeds as a topping), which was very good, and the red tripe for the main course, which was excellent! (Both courses are pictured.) The menu also changes every so often, ensuring there's always something new and different. Another, and perhaps the most important, strong point is the owner. She was charming from the moment I walked in until the end of the meal. Highly recommended to everyone!

Eating at Vicolo is always a gastronomic experience. The place is beautiful and clean, and the wine selection is excellent! The owner is always available and friendly!
