Vicolo Colombina In Bologna

We made a reservation here, the food was okay, a bit more expensive, and the portions were small, but it was delicious, there was a waitress who spoke Spanish, so that helps a lot, they have an extensive wine list, and we ordered a lambrusquito, the bread you see is the Tigelle artigianali di Zocca, the minimum order is three and they cost 2 euros each, but they are very delicious.

Lovely restaurant with great food and friendly staff

A small, intimate, and elegant restaurant in a central yet quiet area. The menu focuses on typical Petronian dishes, all excellently executed, with a special mention for the tortellini in parmesan cream, truly exquisite. The wine list is simple but well-regarded. The service is young, multi-ethnic, fast, and courteous. Year after year, it has deservedly established itself as a Michelin-starred restaurant and one of our favorites in the city.

I went to Vicolo Colombina for the first time last night for a business dinner with clients, and I must say it was a truly extraordinary experience. I had booked in advance, and from the moment I arrived, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. The service was impeccable: they explained the menu to us with great passion, sharing interesting facts about the products and ingredients, all of which were incredibly fresh and top-quality. The waitresses were extremely kind, always attentive, and precise: they filled our glasses and brought new bottles of wine independently, always maintaining a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The proposed menu consisted of four courses (starting at €65): • Potato and mortadella flan on a Parmesan cream • Lasagna with farmyard ragù • Sangiovese-braised cheek with celeriac purée • Tiramisu The price included water, service charge, coffee, and wine (one bottle for every three people), while bitters and grappa were kindly offered at the end of the meal. The food was simply superb: refined, balanced, and carefully prepared dishes. Probably the best dinner I've ever had. The restaurant is in a fantastic location, in the heart of Bologna, and is truly beautiful both inside and out. The outdoor area has a charming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a peaceful evening. Honestly, I can't wait to return. I highly recommend this place—ideal for both a business dinner and a special occasion.

A rather fancy Bolognese restaurant with subdued lighting, cloth napkins, and copper cutlery sets, located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Indeed, the prices match the establishment's high standards. The dishes are well-prepared, tasty, and filling. The manager gives a warm welcome.

The place is nice, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable for the dishes. However, they have many Michelin-starred restaurants, which perhaps led us to expect better service and better quality food, which was good but nothing special. We waited a long time for our order (admittedly, practically everyone arrived at the same time).

Fantastic food, no notes. I thought I had made a reservation but turns out it was for a wrong date and the host gave us a table anyway since he had just gotten a cancellation, sweet of him and lucky us!

Il ristorante si trova a pochi passi da Piazza Maggiore, in una tranquilla viuzza che costeggia la Basilica di San Petronio. Nonostante la posizione non è il solito locale turistico ma un posto di classe e qualità. Salumi top, tortellini in brodo di cappone eccezionali e superba la cotoletta alla bolognese! A disposizione una ampia scelta di vini e liquori particolari. Consigliato! Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

We both went for the pasta al ragu from here The fresh pasta was nicely cooked, and the ragu was fine, although, unremarkable. The table bread we were served was not good, it was too dry. A final point to note that the Parmesan cheese served with the dish was pre-grated and the waiter spooned it onto our dishes. Perhaps they grated it themselves in preparation, however it seemed dried out upon tasting or maybe even it was bought in pre-grated rather than prepared themselves as it tasted a little bland as with the supermarket ones packed with preservatives. It could be that it’s just they grated it themselves and it’s just dried out losing the flavour I am always a little concerned about authenticity when an Italian restaurant doesn’t grate the Parmesan fresh in front of you and so I always suspect in these cases that it’s a cheap pre-grated form. So in general, I would not recommend this place.
