Unbeatable value for money. The tortellini in broth and the lasagna are the best I have had in Bologna. An Italian friend recommended it to me, and it was spot on.

A fine dining experience in an understated and friendly environment. Perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had the baked onion and potato soufflé to start then lasagne and the coniglio (rabbit) to share. The lasagne was incredible! Perfectly crunchy top. The coniglio was the best we had ever had and extremely filling, luckily they offered us a doggy bag. The wine was also excellent. Strongly recommend - but book in advance!

Everything was fine, very pleasant environment, attentive and kind service. The food was excellent from the cured meats to the dessert, the trifle was perfect!

I am now back in Bologna after a very long time. I must admit I was here decade ago, so my knowledge and my memory of the place were both not up to date. However, I had the great idea of booking this place and I must admit I was astonished by the quality of the food, the incredible service by the super attentive and courteous Angelo and all the other staff that I do not know the name of. I had 2 starters, the beef tartare and the cotechino, both master classes on how to make great ingredients shine! This was followed by the tagliatelle al ragu, and mother supremely good dish, then the guancia with Sangiovese sauce! This was sublime, you could spot that the velvety sauce was made with fondo bruno! I ended the meal with zuppa inglese, divine dessert that is one of my favourites, and a drop of a hazelnut liqueur, kindly offered by the house ! Wow! As my first day in Bologna after a long time I cannot think of a better start ! Grazie mille a tutti siete stati meravigliosi

Cucina della tradizione Bolognese con materie prime ricercate e di qualità. Pasta fatta in casa. Il brodo era squisito e i tortellini..che dire, fantastici ! La cotoletta alla Bolognese veramente buona. Personale cortese, servizio semplice e veloce. Tra tutti i ristoranti provati a Bologna nella mia permanenza, sicuramente tornerei qui.
