ViaLanterna In Messina

I had read about Vialanterna and decided to give it a try. I just wanted good pizza. But what I got was pizza of another order. I have traveled in Italy for years and this was by far the most original, delicious, and satisfying pizzas I ever tried. I went for the Tonnara. The mix of integral dough base with cheese, Sicilian tuna, pistachios, confit of Tropea onions and cheese was sensational! Accompanied by a very good house White. If this place were anywhere else, it would be under assault by hungry crowds. At 15 Euros that pizza was a steal! If in Messina, go!
