We stopped at midday and this time I didn't like the dry pizzoccheri with pieces of salt. In reality they are creamy with cheese, veal polenta and porcini mushrooms. The meat was excellent but little or no porcini mushrooms. Too bad, same thing with the deer. The porcini mushrooms weren't all tacky. Too bad. The cuisine of Valtellina is exquisite and we have eaten better on other occasions

This is the third time we have vacationed at Via Vai and we have never been disappointed. Orsola and her team are always very warm, accommodating and provide great service.
The location of Via Vai couldn't be better, right in the center and on the ski slopes. Not only can you store your skis in the basement, but there is also an in-house underground car park for guests. We always feel very welcome and enjoy the delicious dishes from the restaurant (Piadina Veggie 😄🥰) every day. Thank you dear Orsola and team for your hospitality! You're doing a great job! We look forward to seeing you next year! ⛷️🎿🚡🏂

Passing through, an excellent typical place - staff in local costume - for lunch, comfortable in the heat. Excellent pasta, also polenta with cheeses, generous portions, courtesy and quality, very helpful and kind staff, average prices.

The restaurant at B&B Via Vai is a combination of a warm atmosphere, attentive service and an excellent location in the center of Livigno. I really liked this place.
The interior is made in a traditional alpine style: a lot of wood, soft lighting, everything looks simple, but tasteful. You feel at home.
The restaurant staff is attentive, always smiling. The service is fast and unobtrusive, which I especially appreciate.
If you are looking for a place where you can have a delicious dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, I recommend checking out the restaurant at B&B Via Vai. I didn’t want to leave at all!

We spent 7 days in Livigno and were eating at Via Vai restaurant at least 3 times a day 😁😋
It's so convenient to ski down the slop, park the ski and have a coffee with a cake or vino caldo with la piadina veggie or anything you like.
After kids finished their ski school, we had our daily early dinner and always took left overs to our apartment to finish in the evening. 😁☺️
The service is quick and attentive. The food is tasty. The atmosphere and the location is great.
Very recommended.

We arrived here hungry for lunch and looking for some energy for our Christmas gift shopping day.
The Location is on the main shopping street of Livigno and easily spotted with a huge Harry Potter Statute outside. The Service appeared to be overwhelmed and took some time for the order.
Once the order was taken, they moved fast to provide some bread and Grisini, which helped to calm our empty stomachs. A bit after, the main dishes arrived, we had two different type of polentas. They were delicious! The plate looked great and the portion was just right.
We treated ourselves to a Apple Strudel, which was also delicious and beautifully plated. I recommend this place and will come back for my exact same order :)

Review relating to the restaurant: excellent cuisine, generous portions, very fast service, courteous staff, bill in line with the quality (in fact I thought I would spend more. It does not accept reservations for lunch.

Pranzo in coppia. Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante tipico di Livigno consigliati da amici. Menu importante e piatti buonissimi. Le porzioni sono più che generose, il servizio rapido e il conto onesto. Che dire? Bravissimi!
