Apart from the waitress at reception who is smiling (you have to attract customers), the servers are as friendly as prison doors! The food is nevertheless good, and the view of the sea is superb.

A terrace with great views. Excellent service and wonderful food. The spaghetti with sea urchin was the best I've had in all of Sicily and Italy. The gluten-free pasta was perfect, and the pistachio and panna cotta semifreddo with fresh strawberries was also very good. Plus, the sea views were beautiful.

02/03/2026: I came to Palermo to stay with my cousins. The dinner was epic: the cod with caponata reminded me of the foods and flavors of yesteryear. The wine was excellent. I digested everything without any problems. The place was quite noisy. The service was quick and friendly.

02/03/2026: They don't reserve a table. We were very lucky. The food is delicious and they are quick with starters and main courses but they abandoned us when it came to dessert 😌. We paid in cash and they made a mistake in their favor. We complained and they gave us back the change reluctantly. The rest is all 10.
25/02/2026: It's a great place to eat in Palermo, very close to Via Maqueda. The first time we went, we had drinks and an appetizer. The second time, we went back for dinner. I highly recommend Nero di Sepia. The atmosphere is super cozy.
