Apart from the waitress at reception who is smiling (you have to attract customers), the servers are as friendly as prison doors! The food is nevertheless good, and the view of the sea is superb.

A terrace with great views. Excellent service and wonderful food. The spaghetti with sea urchin was the best I've had in all of Sicily and Italy. The gluten-free pasta was perfect, and the pistachio and panna cotta semifreddo with fresh strawberries was also very good. Plus, the sea views were beautiful.

The Spritz was the worst and most expensive of the entire holiday – €10, and you only tasted the sweet Aperol, not the wine. The food, as I've written before, was good, but not great. Service was mixed: the lady at the reception was very nice, and so was the pizza chef; the rest of the staff was rather reserved, and one waiter was unpleasantly pushy. Overall, it was too expensive, even though the sunset view was fantastic.

Vistas realmente encantadoras y tuvimos la suerte de ver una puesta de sol increíble desde nuestra mesa con vistas al mar. Servicio educado pero impersonal. Muy un lugar turístico, comida promedio y caro para el tamaño de las porciones. Solo 4 gambas en mi plato de pasta de gambas. No es terrible, pero está bien.

01/11/2025: -Sicilian cuisine with a taste of home- At Mangia e Beví, we enjoyed an authentic and hearty meal. We tried spaghetti with potatoes and braised meat and pasta with eggplant, both very good, with a homemade flavor and local produce. The seafood salad, on the other hand, was somewhat tough and less successful. It even seemed like the ingredients were frozen. The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly, and the prices very reasonable. A traditional and sincere osteria, ideal for savoring Palermo's cuisine without the fuss.
