Superb, typical food. Very friendly waiters and a cozy atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants on the lake.

A fantastic dining experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. The food at Ristorante Via Roma is outstanding — the cuttlefish ink pasta with vongole was rich, perfectly balanced, and among the best I’ve ever tasted. The vitello tonnato was equally excellent: tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Service was warm, friendly and efficient, adding to the relaxed yet refined atmosphere. A must-visit if you’re in Intra and looking for top-quality Italian cuisine in a charming location.

We arrived without a reservation and were immediately greeted and shown to a table in the lovingly decorated courtyard. The food was truly delicious, and the portions were generous. The highlight was the homemade cacio e pepe pasta, prepared directly from the pecorino cheese at our table. The visit was rounded off with a pomelo liqueur, which was served with the bill. We would gladly return.

The best pasta we ate during our holiday in Italy. The pasta with Parmesan cheese is an absolute must. Very friendly welcome and lovely sitting in the garden.

Bar Ristorante La Fruetta

25/05/2025: 5 stars Stumbled in for a coffee early Sunday morning after a night of camping—what a gem! The staff were incredibly friendly, full of good vibes, and the fact that the bar opens at 8:30am is a total game-changer. Perfect place to kick off the day before hitting the rocks for a climbing session. Great coffee, great energy, and exactly what you need to fuel your adventure. Highly recommend!
01/05/2025: Excellent cuisine and excellent staff, I highly recommend it, from the wait for the table spent with some bubbles outside to the truly excellent dessert.

04/07/2025: A beautiful calm space very elegantly decorated, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this lovely spot. I think we chose badly from a varied menu but overall the food was slightly disappointing and way over seasoned.
15/06/2025: Very good culinary experience, homemade dishes, for very big eaters the quantities may not be sufficient.
