I've celebrated two birthdays and a baptism at this place, and never had a single complaint. We returned in June to celebrate the baby's baptism. Everything was impeccable: service, cleanliness, and food, except for the part everyone's waiting for: THE CAKE! I asked for a cream tart, but no one ate it; it all came back! It had to be cut with a chainsaw! Unfortunately, they weren't even supposed to present that cake; it didn't even look the way they asked for! A word of advice: change your pastry chef, or if they're not capable, tell them they can't make this type of cake! Below, you'll find the cake they made and photos of how it was more or less supposed to look.

So I'm changing my review after the last time it didn't go so well! I had a rib-eye steak with grilled vegetables, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the grilled vegetables were cooked very well! This time the review is more than positive! I recommend it!

I tried the classic pizza tour. The pizzas are good and varied. The dessert pizzas aren't bad either. The place is suitable for children and groups... It's definitely not a quiet place. The lunch menu is extensive, perfect for a business lunch. You can opt for a full two-course menu or a single course. Generous portions and quick service. Coffee and dessert complete the experience. I recommend it.

Too expensive for the service offered, and the amount of food consumed was less than expected. Better to try Olgiate 360.

siamo stati li il 25aprile 2025..usciti poche ore fa verso le 09:40 circa,che dire personale gentile il contrario di cio' che si dice..abbiamo prenotato x 2 e tutto ok..le pizze io ho parlato con la ragazza al bar ho solo chiesto come mai non vedo i bordi nelle pizze..e xche' erano troppo cotte,giustamente il locare era pieno..forse x quello..ma resta il fatto che i bordi mancavano..tempi fa li facevano con bordi e non troppo cotte..metto la foto non x criticare solo x farsi un idea,io almeno lo detto di persona...x migliorare ...ma molti commenti sono troppo cattivi, secondo me ... esagerati...li criticate e poi ci tornate siate coerenti...io invece ci ritornero'..e grazie a tutti voi ...buona serata.

Agriturismo La Betulla

20/10/2025: A quiet location surrounded by greenery, with space for vans or tents at the back of the property. The view of Lake Maggiore is good, and the location is excellent for exploring the area. The porch is lovely, while the interior is very homey. We appreciated the fireplace during dinner, but not so much the prices of the dishes, which in my opinion are out of line (linguine with meat sauce was €17-18). Breakfast was good and plentiful, with croissants and homemade tarts. The rooms are dated and lacking maintenance, with unusable electrical outlets, extension cords, and power strips everywhere. The electric shutters didn't work, only the curtains. The beds were box springs, not double beds, and there were no sheets (just a duvet). One shower didn't have a cover. Worst of all, the heating was off when we arrived, and the hot water was only lukewarm. I tried, but it wasn't possible to take a shower. The owner installed electric burners to make up for this.

Pizza - Ristorante Sibilla

06/11/2025: During an outing with the Rapperswil-Jona senior citizens' club to the Mercato market, we stopped at Sibilla for lunch. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. The pizzas added a splash of color to the otherwise simple restaurant.
25/10/2025: The pizza was excellent (my pumpkin, honey chestnuts, brie, and pancetta were my choice). The dessert was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful (I was with my elderly mother, who has some mobility issues). Highly recommended.
