About 15 years ago I entered for the first time and since then when you decide to eat fish, the first and only place that comes to mind is the green & blue.

Hidden gem in Acireale The restaurant is not visible from the road and is at the end of an alley with gates closed or open to indicate whether the restaurant is open. There is a big sign next to the gates. Opens at night only, at least in May. You can choose to eat inside or outside under groves of oranges and lemons. Beautiful grounds and view of the ocean. Family restaurant with wonderful pleasant service and great Sicilian food. We had a special tasting menu that was exquisite with local fish varieties and an excellent white wine suggested by the staff. The service was impeccable and not rushed and we were fortunate to be served by the daughter who had studied in France and spoke French which compensated for the lack of English throughout Sicily.

Great food and awesome people! Really nice atmosphere too. Definitely get the mixed starters, so good! The mains were amazing too. Would come back to acireale just to eat here again.

I went to this restaurant last Saturday with my family. We chose this restaurant for an important celebration for us. We couldn't have chosen a better place! We ate divinely, the location is delicious and the staff was truly welcoming. Recently particular, not at all indifferent, very honest price. Thank you so much, we will be back very soon! Excellent! Very nice place with a panoramic view of the sea surrounded by greenery among lemon trees, orange blossoms and flowers, very clean and well-kept. The external part has elegant wooden gazebos. Very kind and professional staff, well organized in the service offered. Quality food with very good selection of 8 starters, the first courses are also tasty and for those who want the second courses too. The dessert is also good. Good value for money. I recommend it!🌹

The place is very nice, very panoramic and the terrace with a view is very beautiful. The entrance is very narrow, a medium-sized car passes through, the internal parking is small but somehow managed by the staff. Moving on to the lunch experience: the appetizers arrived almost immediately, many small plates with fish appetizers, stuffed calamari, octopus salad, mixed fried foods, caponata... and more. Moving on to the first courses, plentiful and good, pasta with clams and pasta with swordfish and aubergines. Unfortunately the service was marked by management difficulties due to a perhaps unexpected full house, between a baptism and the rest of the tables being full the staff was really running around all the time. Apart from this, perhaps it was a single situation, the food was good, the owner was friendly, we will probably return to better appreciate the food and the view. Lower than average prices.
