Very well-kept, somewhat cool atmosphere but warm welcome. Small menu (positive), huge wine list with a large selection of champagne with 304 positions, plus Barbaresco and Barolo with vintage depth. Everything at fairly calculated prices. We chose the four-course Langhe menu with Vitello tonnato, the best we've eaten so far, with excellent Vitello cooked to perfection and an ingenious tuna sauce. Then tagliolini al limone with the finest lemon sauce, of course without cream or anything similar. Perfectly cooked al dente and with a finely balanced lemon flavor.
The Brasato al Barolo as the third course, the finest beef, braised until tender with a wonderful Barolo sauce. A light pannacotta for dessert.
As an aperitif an Alta Langa DOCG and with dinner a Barolo Bussia 2015 from Fenocchio, which delighted us more with every sip.
An excellent menu in a pleasant atmosphere with very good service at a fair price.

New Year's Eve dinner. pleasant environment. Welcoming and kind staff. Excellent dishes. Very neat and well presented. Whoever is in the kitchen knows how to do their job with great care and skill. Excellent quality. At midnight they offered excellent champagne. Well done

CHANGE WAITER
Very good cuisine, contemporary restaurant, small but comfortable. However, the service is really bad, the waiter who "served" us, as well as being rude, is not capable of doing his job. Rude because he never said "yes" to every request we made, for example, not even a piece of paper for the little girl to draw on.
Incapable because he opened the bottle of wine in the area and opened it loudly. Furthermore, he poured the same randomly without serving the ladies first. Even the dishes were served randomly and hastily placed on the table without taking care. The bill is absolutely fine. Service definitely not up to the Michelin guide.
In short, the problem is not the restaurant but some of the staff with a surly and inhospitable character.

Each dish was beautifully presented and showcased the region's finest ingredients. While every course was delightful, the standout was undoubtedly the egg dish with potato cream and a generous shaving of white truffle. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine.
Ventuno.1 Ristorante e Bottega offers a refined dining experience that celebrates the essence of Alba's culinary heritage. It's a must-visit for those seeking an elegant and memorable meal during their truffle pilgrimage.
Recommendation: Reservations are highly recommended, especially during the peak truffle season.

I stopped in this restaurant during the truffle fair. I really appreciated the tagliolini with white truffle, a little less the environment which is certainly modern and refined, but in my opinion a little cold.
