We’ve been in Italy almost 7 days and this place by far has been the most tasteful restaurant, we had the gnocchi with clams , linguine margarita pizza and calamari and they all were amazing!! I recommend this place to everyone.

I don’t write a lot of reviews. I have to tell all what a fantastico experience we had at Vela Bianca this evening. From the moment we were seated until the time we left, we were treated so well. The manager, Michael, was kind and welcoming. Our primary server, Mucharo, took great care of us and we adored his sense of humor. The food was amazing… best meal in Sorrento so far. We’re hoping to come back again before we leave. Highly recommend!

It's on the first floor of Hotel Ilparu. I think guests get a discount? I ordered the tuna pasta, which is octopus dipped in shredded potatoes, and I ate a lot. The manager was friendly, and the seating was good. He showed me to my seat, which made for a pleasant meal. The Housewine by the glass was 6 euros, and it was delicious. (JMT)

I was walking by and decided to look down from the street. I was pleasantly surprised by a welcoming smile. Hossain welcomed me to have some breakfast. The pastries were warm and coffee was very strong. While sitting drinking coffee the owner came in and said hello to everyone. He then started dancing with his employee which made everyone smile. Great place, highly recommend. The owner also helped some tourist with getting a taxi. Great people!!!

The restaurant is located right on the beachfront in Sorrento. If you're staying in the town center, you'll need to go down the stairs to get there. We went at night, when they serve in a small open-air alley, a very pleasant setting. The service was attentive and polite. The dishes were delicious, and they had house wine options at more affordable prices.

20/09/2025: This is one of the most remarkable dining experiences. We stumbled upon this place walking from Massa Lubrense, and from the moment we entered we were greeted with genuinely *world class* service. We were a little early for dinner so we ordered from the still-active lunch menu. Everything was delicious and perfect in its own regard. I’ve eaten in remarkable places around the world, but I can confidently say this is the most beautiful setting I’ve ever dined from. We were lucky to catch the perfect sunset over the sea. After dinner, we went up to the sky bar for drinks and desert. Again - world class views. You don’t go there to rush in and out, you go there to enjoy life. At the end, the concierge was once again of the utmost help, with a level of grace and camaraderie you almost never see. I will certainly stay at the hotel next time I come to visit. This will be the highlight of two weeks in Italy for certain.
