Small lunch break at Vegan and Veg where I relaxed while tasting a delicious frisella! It is located near the station. They also make excellent traveggzini or gourmet croissants to eat on the train!

What a find! If you are looking for mouth-watering vegan dishes, don’t miss this delightful restaurant in the heart of Messina, just opposite the Royal Palace Hotel. I discovered it by chance and have been back again and again. The food is SO fresh, locally grown and such a welcomed change after too many carbs! The owner, Manuela, is an amazing chef and makes her customers feel very at home in the cosy setting. If you are after healthy, tasty and local food, Vegan e Veg is the place to come to, and the ‘vegan bowl’ comes highly recommended!

I recommend it to everybody! A very welcoming restaurant in the center where you can eat very well. The chef uses only local raw materials. Make delicious dishes and desserts. You can feel that each dish is made with so much passion.

Arriving late to catch a ferry, dinner at Vegan e Veg was perfect in every way. An invigorating stage where it is pleasant to be able to eat everything on the menu as a vegetarian! Nice decoration. Owner who took the time to explain everything to us carefully. In English easily. Go ahead and discover new healthy flavors without animal suffering :)
