Went to lunch here while visiting and the food was wonderful and authentic. She was very flexible with providing vegetarian options.

I went for lunch with my husband as a stopover on the way to San Pellegrino, and we were extremely satisfied and surprised by the tasting menu they served with extreme kindness and speed. The dishes are excellent, varied, and imaginative. We paired them with a local wine, "Casa e Chiesa," a Merlot. The price was more than fair. When we return, we will happily stop again. A tasting menu ranging from 20 to 25 euros.
A real surprise.
The management was extremely friendly.
We ate wonderfully.!!!
Those looking for a sophisticated setting and service with English china and crystal glasses should abstain.
Full speed ahead for those who want to eat truly well, like in the olden days, enjoying excellent ingredients.

A delightful restaurant in the historic center of Castiglione di Garfagnana, which has preserved its timeless style, with large tables designed for sharing, even with other guests.
We were welcomed by the owner, who kindly offered us the €20 tasting menu, an opportunity that allowed us to savor numerous specialties. The variety of samples was truly remarkable, and all of them were of excellent quality, both in terms of the choice of ingredients and the preparation. At the end of this culinary experience, we were completely satisfied!
We highly recommend this restaurant!

A small tavern with an old-fashioned feel, you walk in and think, "I'm going to eat well." We asked the lady to prepare it for us, and she brought us a never-ending selection of typical Garfagnana delicacies. Cold cuts and cheeses, homemade giardiniera, crostini of all kinds, various flans. Each one better than the last. A fig and walnut tart to finish. And I forgot about the super-delicious bread.
The photos don't show all the dishes; they were too good to waste time with them.
