We came here on a recommendation. The place is beautiful. Perhaps even more beautiful during the day. We had 7 appetizers, nothing special. Only 1 first course of tagliatelle with mushrooms. Very good, homemade pasta. 8 second courses of fillet of meat. Excellent meat. Excellent side dishes. Genuine. Two bottles of wine and 2 desserts. Good. I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and I must say that it exceeded all expectations. The environment is warm, welcoming, with a rustic touch, perfect for an evening with friends.
The meat is absolutely the highlight: tender, and cooked to perfection. I ordered a steak to share and it was spectacular, with a perfect balance of flavor and doneness. The other proposals were also inviting and well presented.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always available to recommend the best cut or the right pairing with the wine. The wine list, in fact, is well stocked and further enhances the gastronomic experience.
In conclusion, a true paradise for meat lovers. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful location immersed in the Corvino Park.
I had dinner with friends and we had a starter which was poor to say the least (1 aubergine, 1 courgette, 1 bruschetta, 1 slice of raw ham, 1 aubergine meatball, 1 small potato pie and 2 very small olives). If they put 2 slices they were wasted, at the same price with a small difference it was better to take a first course, while the second course of meat was fortunately good.
The price is much higher than other restaurants in the area that offer you many more things with the same quality of meat.
The staff are listless and unhelpful.

Il Vecchio Frantoio di Diamante is the usual, old, excellent restaurant, where you are warmly welcomed by the hosts and their staff in a well-kept "rustic" environment, set in a suggestive "wild" setting, in a very green and leafy clearing on the edge of the roaring Corvino stream, secluded and silent even though we are 500 or 600 meters from the historic center. And the cuisine is the consolidated and reliable typical Calabrian cuisine, of which this time we tried the wonderful lagane, chickpeas and 'nduja, with that touch of intense spiciness that we like, especially without a good red wine. It is the evening of Holy Saturday, but the turnout is not as exaggerated as in the summer period, so you can appreciate every aspect of the evening.
