Soggiornando nella carina cittadina di Diamante, in occasione della Festa del Peperoncino, ci siamo recati in questo suggestivo ristorante con un gruppo di 9 amici per cenare e godere delle ottime recensioni. Gia da subito accolti calorosamente dal personale. Il maitre di sala era sempre disponibile nel descrivere e spiegare ogni portata. Menu davvero buono nella scelta e nei prezzi. The Vecchio Frantoio is a real gem! Immersed in nature, close to a stream, it offers a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff is very kind and attentive to every need. Calabrian cuisine is simply divine: the first courses are an explosion of flavours, while the meat dishes are unique and cooked to perfection. An experience not to be missed!

Location molto carina e suggestiva, il rumore dell’acqua crea un ambiente magico e rilassante, lo staff e’ molto gentile ed attento, il cibo buonissimo, complimenti per le tagliatelle adoro la pasta un po’ spessa. Curata anche la presentazione dei piatti. Bravi!

I went with my family on the recommendation of a local boy. No advice could have been better.
The road to get there is not exceptional, but still passable. Once we arrived on site they welcomed us immediately, perfectly remembering the name with which I had booked in the morning, and made us sit in a small corner of the room, which was very nice. The entire service was almost perfect, with some small imperfections but which did not detract from the courtesy and kindness.
The food.......I can't say like grandma's, but really super.......very high quality raw materials, very careful presentation and top flavour. A personal applause for the Langane with chickpeas and anduja.
Absolutely worth trying if you want to eat typical food.
