We tried a few items from this local bakery before visiting Galleria dell'Accademia. Everything is baked fresh on-site. You can see the entire baking operation through a side door on the street. Prices are clearly displayed and everything we tried was delicious. The standout was the sfoglia which was incredibly light, airy, and flakey with a sweet real apple topping. The lady at the counter had limited English but was friendly.

So good! Definitely a recommended spot. I got coffee to go at their neighbour, which I could drink inside with one of their delicious pastries!

She’s so sweet, and the rice pudding pastry was delicious. the sneaky winner is the chocolate semolina tart. i’d order a great many of those products.

Visited on January 16, 2025. Purchased a slice of stuffed focaccia, which was very tasty and reasonably priced (€3.50). Very fast and efficient service, highly recommended!

Nos alojamos no lejos de Vecchio Forno y hoy mis papilas gustativas tuvieron su mejor día en Firenze. Pensamos que las foccacias eran increíbles y luego tuvimos las tartas de ricota. . . . . . eran perfectas! ! Tenemos otras 3 semanas aquí y volveremos a Australia unos kgs más pesados 😄

25/07/2025: Lovely for a quick but authentic breakfast or small lunch. Everyone is friendly and the pasta was amazing. They even accomodated that we had to catch a train and hurried our food for us
22/07/2025: We came here for lunch and had pasta carbonara and Bolognese. Both were very good and the price was incredibly low. Unfortunately, we were only in Florence for one day, but otherwise, I would definitely come back!
