Exceptional cuisine and excellent service. Homemade pasta and gnocchi, perfect wine, highly recommended! Prices are completely reasonable, even surprisingly affordable.

Excellent meat, nothing to say. They cut it with a knife in front of the customer and cook it in front of you. Recommended the tagliata del falconiere which is their specialty. On the other hand, less recommended the agnolotti with artichokes and gorgonzola which, although good, were 5 cash and, moreover, of a small size such as to fit even in a small plate for appetizers.

Fast service, really tasty duck first course and very fair price considering the location. A great value proposal here in Padua. I will definitely be back.

I wasn't thrilled with the tagliata and the tiramisu disappointed me.

Truly excellent restaurant. As always, I evaluate in relation to the price (110 euros for 2 adults and 2 children). It is a “historic” restaurant in Padua, specialized in meat. There are 3 areas: one inside, a covered but open-air terrace and a couple of beautiful tables on a small bridge illuminated by lights. Many dishes are “finished” at the table, with a trolley where they show you the sprinkling of truffle, the cooking of the meat… I had the tagliata del falconiere which comes with an appetizer of tartare and sausages. The girls mopped up some handmade fusilli with duck ragù. My wife, who doesn’t eat meat unless it’s well cooked, finished off a tartare. The service was very friendly and, arriving at 7 on a Saturday evening, they seated us without any problems. I recommend booking if you want a table on the bridge. I give the desserts a “good” because they were good, but not exceptional. The price is more than fair so 5 stars!!

In una distinta via del centro di Padova a dieci minuti da Prato della Valle insiste questa rinomata ristorazione locale, il menù prevede diverse opzioni, quella di mia moglie e la mia è ricaduta su CARNE per 2 che oltre ad un antipasto composto da una freschissima quanto risicata x 2 tartare e salsicciette, è incentrata su una Tbone magistralmente servita e scaloppata al tavolo, buona per quanto un tantino sovrastimata, a mente di precedenti ed anche migliori esperienze personali, forse l’amaro del santo poteva essere omaggiato!? ma di che parliamo è tutta fuffa si sa a Padova il Santo è solo uno!

Spinti dalle buone recensioni, siamo stati a cena al Vecchio Falconiere una sera di fine aprile e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti dell’esperienza. L’ambiente è piacevole, l’accoglienza e il servizio cordiali ed efficienti. Il menù è prevalentemente incentrato sulle carni e personalmente ho optato per una tartare con salsicce e crostini, seguita da quello che mi è parso di capire sia tra i loro piatti forti, ossia la tagliata, cucinata e servita al tavolo in maniera piuttosto scenografica. I prezzi mi sono sembrati adeguati a quanto ci è stato servito. Locale sicuramente consigliato.
