Vecchio Albergo Sacro Monte In Varallo

An Hotel and restaurant with starred chef Pietro Perrone (Berlin, Lyon, Hotel Four Season in Milan). Quiet, beautiful rooms in contact with sounds and essences of the wild. The restaurant and hotel are located in the greenery of the hill adjacent to the entrance to the Sacro Monte and close to Galeazzo Alessi's triumphal arch. For a century the location has boasted hotel organizational capabilities but its origins date back to the seventeenth century. I had lunch with several guests and everyone had an excellent and classy welcome. In the wonderful patio, carefully assisted by Mrs. Angela Perrone, Director and Owner who leaves nothing to chance with rare management ability, the service has always been rapid and accurate, from times gone by. The aesthetically attractive dishes are curated by the international masterchef Pietro Perrone, fresh from experience in the international field from Lyon to Berlin and last but not least at the For season in Milan. It deserves to be known and to return, a hotel surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and taking away stress. Immersed in the wonderful context of the Sacro Monte di Varallo, a hotel with ancient charm with an excellent restaurant. Friendly and welcoming staff, honest prices, delicious first courses with truffles and ragù, the specialties also include primrose tart. Mandatory walk to Sacro Monte after lunch! Highly recommended

In visita al Sacro Monte di Varallo Sesia. Ci siamo fermati per un caffè a Varallo e ci hanno consigliato questo ristorante. È sito in un posto incantevole vicino alla cappella I del Sacro Monte. Ambiente caldo e piacevole in una location Liberty. Personale giovane, capace e gentilissimo. Portate ottime e presentate molto elegantemente. Abbiamo preso in quattro un primo, tre secondi, tre contorni, tre dolci, quattro caffè e bevuto acqua. Tutto molto soddisfacente. Speso circa 25 € a testa. Usciti, pronti per la visita , molto soddisfatti.

Beautiful venue, friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent and well presented. Not cheap, but priced right. I recommend it for the lunch break during the Sacro Monte tour.
