Vecchia Trattoria Romani In Pavullo nel frignano

The acoustics were terrible; after 3 minutes I wanted to leave. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were fair.

The owners are very kind, helpful, and professional! They let us park our camper in the parking lot! The food was excellent, and the view of the Apennines was beautiful! I highly recommend it!

We've been twice, for lunch and dinner, and everything was delicious and plentiful. Wednesday evenings offer "All you can eat...ciccia" at a fantastic price (€27/person + 30% off drinks). The trio of appetizers includes meat tartare with various sauces, bruschetta, and meat and cheese skewers, and then a delicious tagliata steak that each diner could have cooked right on the hot stone. The trifle was very good, as were the homemade desserts. Very friendly staff.

Having been a guest at a party I have no idea how much it costs, and lunch was already planned with grilled meat... I couldn't eat the appetizers because some had cheese and I'm lactose intolerant, others had truffles which unfortunately I don't like.

Every time we stop in Pavullo we try to go and eat at what we call the "trattoria querciagrossa".

We stopped for lunch and it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, fast service and a more than fair price.

I just have some doubts about the required weight of the Florentine steak (I think there was a gross weighing error). They calculated 2300g of Florentine steak, but to me it seemed much less, 1600g. I say this because I eat Florentine steak often, I even go and buy it myself, and for two of us we struggle to eat 1500g... The problem is that it's served in slices on a cutting board, so you don't know how much they actually put in, but you can figure it out by eye, and even better, by gut feeling... Let's say that 2300g of Florentine steak for two and a half people, after some tortelloni, comes out rolling... and I still had room in my stomach... But okay, the lady said there was a lot of confusion, and since I'm not blind, I decided to give it full marks anyway... even if there was There was confusion about the weighing, but it goes without saying that the Fiorentina was worth much more.

Trattoria on the Estense road with ample parking both in front and in the back! It's classic inside with plenty of seating, as is the outside with a lovely view! The first courses are good and well-portioned, and the Florentine steak is excellent! The service is fast and professional! The price is reasonable considering the quality and service offered! Recommended!
