My partner and I have visited many places in the province of Bologna, one of the best remains the trattoria Monte Adone, starting from the owner Matteo who is uniquely kind and cordial, attentive to every need of the customer, as well as all the other staff, not to mention the dishes, both the first and second courses excellent and cared for in detail and what can we say about the desserts... they are truly amazing! The location is also very beautiful located in the hilly area of ​​Bologna! We highly recommend it also for the good quality/price ratio!

Trattoria Monte Adone is a sure thing: very good food, generous portions, rustic and familiar atmosphere. Unlike what I read in other reviews, usually the owner is very accommodating about the availability of tables if you call at least a couple of hours in advance. I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because the menu is not displayed anywhere but is spoken by the waiter; on the one hand it is very "old school", on the other I think it would be right to be able to see the prices of what you are about to order, so as not to have surprises when it comes to the bill.

We celebrated my partner's 50th birthday here. Beautiful place, very kind and friendly staff. We ate very well and spent the right amount. We will definitely be back.

Dopo passeggiata al contrafforti volevamo venire proprio qua. Abbiamo chiuso il locale alle 16.30! Ottima la simpatia e l accoglienza. Tagliolini ai carciofi ottimi. Ciccia di qualità. E zuppa inglese da ritornarci. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. What else!? Allego foto della zuppa inglese.

Da tanti anni frequento questa trattoria e mi sono sempre trovato benissimo anzi è sempre andata migliorando e mantenendo la genuinità e l'atmosfera familiare la cortesia ed il servizio attento ma caloroso ,insomma la piena soddisfazione .

18/06/2025: Good restaurant with a not very extensive menu but with typical dishes. Handmade tortellini but I got it wrong (this evening they had the filling too salty and the cooking was al dente!). Excellent tagliata. A little attention to detail but good

22/06/2025: the place is very nice, but unfortunately the food is not up to par. the portions of the appetizers are very small for what they cost, the bowls of maximum two spoons each at €4 are too expensive, even in relation to the quality. the tigelle and the crescentina are nothing exceptional, on the contrary.. shame because the place is very nice and the staff is kind. they do the service in two shifts, which I personally do not appreciate, even if the place had many empty seats.
22/06/2025: The dishes are simple but well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Kind and attentive service. Honest quality/price ratio.
