Ah..how nice. My favorite restaurant in Giglio not only for the excellent fish dishes, but for the atmosphere. Kindness and naturalness that you can't find in many places nowadays if you think that the person serving is also the owner and "the boy" has been working there for 25 years!!! I said it all!

Siamo stati alla vecchia Pergola nella serata di ieri, intrigati dal menu visto durante la passeggiata la sera prima:
Pochi piatti, accostamenti interessanti e non ordinari.
Abbiamo assaggiato due tipi di pasta: là cacio e pepe con tartarre di gamberi e gli gnocchetti gorgonzola e gamberetti. Entrambi i piatti molto buoni e ben bilanciati, il sapore del formaggio non sovrastava quello del pesce, anzi, il mix di sapori in bocca era piacevolissimo.
Per secondo abbiamo assaggiato la gran frittura, veramente ben realizzata e croccante.
Da bere un bianco, servito con cestello di ghiaccio. Prezzo onesto, per essere al giglio direi al di sotto della media.

I confirm the excellent reviews of this place, a nice environment, friendly and super helpful staff, not to mention the food which is delicious, the fish feels fresh.
We tried the pici cacio e pepe and the paccheri, both with the right portions and super good
