We had a magnificent evening in the Vecchia Osteria. We come for over 30 years to Marotta and we love the food here in the Marche region, a lot of fish and the traditional meat dishes of the mountains in the backland of Marotta.
But what we never wound have expected here is a meat restaurant of this high level, never! No need to go to Rom, Milan, Paris or Hamburg to gave a selection of world class dry aged meat! Exceptional! They dry age on their own and have a good choice of different breeds of cow and pig! Yummy!
Their burgers, which the kids had were also very tasty and not just cheap ground meat!
Add too this a large choice of artiisan beer and a small selection of wines. Perfect!

An ideal place to eat in company. The food is very tasty, the portions are large (the photo does not show the size of the portions, as we have already tried some dishes), you can easily fill up.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the waiters smile and really care that you like everything. They speak English well
The atmosphere is wonderful, beautiful scenery, music that does not interfere at all, and even on the contrary, adds a certain charm.
On the plus side: the menu can be viewed via QR code. This is a great solution.
Smoking is also allowed at the tables.
I definitely recommend visiting this place, especially if you like meat and beer. It's all here at a high level.

The food is excellent, we ordered pork, veal, chicken wings, potatoes and a burger, everything is very tasty. The waitress often came over and asked if everything was fine and if you wanted anything else. A great place for a family dinner, I recommend!!!

Returning from holidays in Salento and having eaten only fish....and for a break due to the many kilometers to travel, I planned this stop for a nice steak...a perfect break. Excellent meat aged for 45/50 days, informal environment, kind and friendly girls. Simone the owner, competent in explaining the handcrafted products and very kind. Thanks I will definitely be back.

Last night we had fun at the Vecchia Osteria da Simo eating some proper meat.
For the appetizer we took a knife-cut steak of adult beef fillet and for the second course a dry-aged Danish beef rib with 120 days of maturation weighing 1.2 kg, incredible quality.
Excellent beers as always.

Cibo eccellente, offerto agli avventori con cura ed attenzione. Tutto è locale e prodotto in casa. La selezione degli affettati è golosa, così come per i formaggi, la carne, frollata in sede, e le birre. Il personale è gentilissimo e divertente. Il proprietario ama il suo lavoro: si vede e si sente! Prezzi più che onesti vista la qualità.

Fantastic! I have always lived in the restaurant environment and therefore I am demanding, but this place is perfect. Friendly atmosphere, calm customers: even when the place is full you can talk. The food is a discovery: homemade cold cuts with local raw materials, refined cheeses served with care, excellent beer, courteous and helpful staff. The prices are more than fair, given the quality. I noticed colors and coloring books for the children. There is a lot of attention to the customer, in every sense. Truly a pleasure.
