The best tonnarelli cacio e pepe I've ever tasted! A lovely little trattoria in Rome, not very well known, which is great! It's mostly frequented by locals who enjoy the delicious flavors without the crowds. An authentic, calm place, exactly the kind of place I love: stress-free and peaceful. I met Ibrahim, the chef, who served my dish! Exceptional! Highly recommended.

25/02/2026: For the quality and authenticity of the food, we spent very little (including water and wine). It's typical Roman cuisine, refined dishes from the Roman tradition and easy to find; after all, Agustarello has always been a reliable choice. It's a shame space is so limited; book well in advance, even in the middle of the week!
13/02/2026: Very sweet waitress and delicious local food. We recommend the sweetbread.

Trattoria Le Tavernelle

11/03/2026: Excellent, traditional Roman location where you can enjoy the best cacio e pepe in Rome. Warm and friendly service. I recommend ordering artichokes alla giudia rather than alla romana, or both.
