The best tonnarelli cacio e pepe I've ever tasted!
A lovely little trattoria in Rome, not very well known, which is great! It's mostly frequented by locals who enjoy the delicious flavors without the crowds.
An authentic, calm place, exactly the kind of place I love: stress-free and peaceful.
I met Ibrahim, the chef, who served my dish! Exceptional!
Highly recommended.

An osteria with authentic flavors, just like the charming owner. There were 10 of us, and we made a reservation over the phone, and everything went wonderfully. Excellent flavors, with the gricia standing out above all else.

Today, 26 members of the S. Maurizio Choir from Vigasio (VR) and I had lunch at this restaurant. What can I say... simply the best, excellent traditional cuisine in a very characteristic setting, all topped off by Tiziana's kindness and friendliness, which made our lunch truly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We dined at Vecchia Osteria del Gelsomino after a visit to St. Peter's and immediately felt at home. A simple restaurant, full of photos and memories, with Lorenzo and Tiziana always present in the dining room.
The tonnarelli cacio e pepe and amatriciana were truly delicious, with generous portions and a more than decent house wine. Their homemade tiramisu is also worth trying.
The price was fair for the area. Recommended for those seeking authentic, no-frills Roman cuisine.
