26/06/2026: A really nice restaurant a few steps from the amazing Basilica; we ordered a “touristic” menu - an economic but wonderfully tasty option, and had a lovely time not only enjoying the food but also appreciating a wonderful oil painting conveying the feeling of midday heat in Umbria

19/05/2026: I was there on May 1st at Sorta Maria degli Angeli. This restaurant is located near the center of the city. You can eat very well and spend very little. The staff is very kind and quiet. Then, leaving the restaurant, there are 3 or 4 ice cream shops that make excellent ice cream. If I can recommend the one next to the pizzeria or the one in front, they are exquisite.
