We have been coming to Ristorante Valprino since the late 80s and can only report the very best. For over 30 years now, the fine and typical Ligurian food with products from our own garden and olive grove has always been of excellent quality. This is not least because the family business guarantees continuity of quality. If you weren't here, you weren't in Liguria.

Super delicious, local, and honest cuisine. A 10-course menu, served promptly by friendly staff. Drinks were refilled free of charge. Reservations are essential!

A really great lunch with friends, fixed menu, but you could notice the care with which the dishes are prepared. Everything excellent and portions quite right. Compliments. Recommended

Authenticité du terroir. Un vrai plaisir pour nos papilles gustatives ! Tant la viande que les légumes servis, la cuisson était à point ! Le défilé culinaire est un pur régal. Madame en salle, est d'une gentillesse et très aimable. Cet agriturismo mérite le détour. Bravo au cuisinier en chef.

Recommended to me by the owner of our B&B in Imperia, we reached the restaurant, with a reservation, at 8 pm. We were the only Italians at the tables under a cool pergola on the square of Prela', the other German customers certainly appreciated the genuine food and the polite and fast service. Since I don't eat meat, they prepared a perfect alternative menu for me. All simple and tasty dishes, nice quiet atmosphere.

Very good quality/price ratio. Menu with several appetizers, two first courses, a second course, dessert, coffee with wine and water for 35 euros. In Liguria, finding similar places is really difficult!

We ate there at the end of our vacation. It was beautifully situated, quiet in a small town in a beautiful valley. Luckily, there were still seats available, and we were able to "walk in." Of course, we didn't know that it started at 8:00 PM and that a reservation was required. We'll keep that in mind next time. We managed to get about four more courses. The menu is simple, but the taste is definitely worth it. Honest cuisine with a regional focus. Freshness and quality are top priorities. You won't go home hungry. The concept is convincing: a fixed price including coffee, wine, and water – it makes perfect sense. No endless, long choices from the menu. Just sit down and let yourself be surprised. The best Ligurian home cooking, prepared according to Nonna's recipes Summer 2024 - Dinner for 2 people. We've been here several times, and this year we didn't want to miss out on the multi-course menu. Unlike in the past, the food is no longer served inside, but rather on the street side, on the pretty church square in front of the restaurant. Reservations are required, and the time is set at 8:00 PM. There is no à la carte menu; a roughly 10-course menu (sorry, not counting) is served in turn. The service is attentive and unobtrusive, and the ambiance is very pleasant. The meal is a seemingly endless succession of various delicious appetizers, pasta dishes, rabbit, and a dessert. The best Ligurian home cooking, honest, well-seasoned, varied little bites with obviously fresh ingredients. The only criticism might be that they've served virtually the same menu for years, meaning there are no surprises when you repeat the menu. But that doesn't detract from the outstanding culinary experience of an extended evening, and I'm happy to return every time. All in all, a fantastic experience: honest, very good, and varied Ligurian food. The prices are great: €70 for two people plus a €10 (optional, of course) tip, including water, house wine, and coffee. Great!
