I have been in italy for a few months and tried all the amazing local dishes Italy has to offer. While in Florence waiting for our flight we seen this restaurant and decided to try something different. Back home in Canada we don't have any Peruvian restaurants. We are so glad we did, excellent food , excellent service and a nice change in atmosphere.

Too expensive and many options were limited. No one explained what was not available until we asked. Food was good but service was trash. They allowed dogs in the restaurant which was unsanity for me and felt like animal cruelty as the dog appeared hungry but not allowed to eat.

The lunch menu is very generous and the dishes are carefully prepared. The desserts are delicious, and the lemon and 3 leche cakes are highly recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is spacious and bright.

La Vaca Loka offers traditional Peruvian dishes of incredible quality. I had the cheese rolls and fried food, but what surprised me most, beyond the quality of the ingredients, was how lightly fried they were. Delicious, definitely worth a try.

I ordered a rotisserie chicken to take home and it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go eat at the restaurant! Great price and very tasty, very similar to how it's made in Peru.

24/01/2026: Very good grilled meat, top-notch Argentinean red wine, I'd say. It's a small, charming place in the heart of Florence. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. There's a party atmosphere and music, and after dinner you can even have a drink, just like in a pub. It's lovely, I'll be back.
17/01/2026: The meat was delicious, and the gentleman serving it was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Argentine Syrah was also very interesting. We'll definitely be back.
