We visited this cozy restaurant this evening and, despite not having a reservation, received a very friendly and warm welcome. The food was excellent, the wine superb, and the service equally so. We were delighted and would definitely return. I'd also like to mention that our large dog was also warmly welcomed and was thoughtfully provided with a bowl of fresh water. We thank you very much and look forward to our next visit.

We ate at this restaurant because it was one of the few open on Mondays. In short, the restaurant isn't worth the price; maybe the pizza, but we didn't try it. I wouldn't return. The pappa al pompdoro and the tagliatelle with white ragù were good. We were, however, disappointed by the meat, which wasn't even asked how we'd cooked it. The practice of not listing the cover charge (€3.50, like in Milan or Florence), water, and wine by the glass on the menu is very annoying.

Beautifully renovated terrace with partial cover. The food was more than good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. When a child asks for a glass of water, they can only order a liter bottle.

In the heart of Loro Ciuffenna, a splendid medieval village with a thousand charms, narrow alleys winding up and down, so narrow you can't even get through them, you rush down a hill where stiletto heels are prohibited... and this stunning place, full of stones and history, appears. Don't miss it - by reservation only - the few tables on the lookout overlooking the stream below, reached by a picturesque... steep and delightful staircase. Needless to say, the food is excellent... be patient.

I had a wonderful meal, the food was excellent, with a picturesque view of the river and the town. The staff were excellent and friendly, never rude, always smiling. The price/quality ratio was right...the ingredients were top-quality. We had appetizers, first courses, meat, and desserts, and there wasn't a single thing I said...maybe it was better this way...nothing. Well done guys. I'll gladly return, I recommend it.

Prima volta in questo ristorante nel centro storico di Loro Ciuffenna. Location molto curata sia all'interno che all'esterno. In 3 abbiamo mangiato 1 antipasto, 3 pizze, 1 dolce, acqua, birra, coca e caffe. Tempi di attesa un po' lunghetti e prezzi non troppo economici.

Siamo andati in questo ristorante fra le mura di Loro Ciuffenna in data 02/06/2025. Il posto è unico con uno spazio all aperto che è anche una terrazza che si affaccia direttamente sul torrente Ciuffenna. Ambiente fresco e piacevole. L unico rammarico in questa circostanza sono stati i tempi un po' lunghi che hanno comportato una certa attesa ,ma visto il posto il tempo è passato in fretta. All uscita il Gestore ci ha correttamente fatto presente che vi era stato un problema di disponibilità di personale per questa serata. Il luogo resta assolutamente consigliabile.

12/09/2025: A colleague and I were in Sansepolcro for work. Looking for a quiet place to eat, we stumbled upon this typical Tuscan osteria. As soon as we entered, I was immediately struck by a beautiful drum kit—a musical instrument I play—which made me think the owner was a musician as well as a restaurateur, and I wasn't wrong. But let's not beat around the bush and talk about the place and the food instead. We were greeted by a very professional, kind, polite, and above all knowledgeable young woman who offered advice and clarification both during the selection process and when it came time to serve our dishes, clearing up any doubts and concerns. We sat on the outdoor veranda, as it was a beautiful day today, and ordered the menu, which you can easily find online. I won't list it here, but I want to tell you about what I ate! I had a mixed antipasto with delicacies from days gone by, a wonderful warm liver pâté on warm toasted bread, a panzanella like I hadn't had in a long time, not to mention a wonderful crostini with caramelized onions, as well as cold cuts and excellent cheeses. Then I ordered pici all'aglione, made with a sauce of green tomatoes and, of course, aglione, on which I was advised to grate some fresh Pienza pecorino, grind some pepper, and drizzle with a drizzle of Tuscan DOP olive oil! The pasta wasn't dry, but fresh pici with a fantastic consistency. They were perfect, perhaps—and I'm not exaggerating—the best pici all'aglione I've ever eaten! I want to compliment chef Batterista and his staff. Highly recommended.
