We had dinner this evening. The place was very pleasant and the staff very friendly. The dishes were excellent and well-prepared. Service was prompt. The fried rabbit was fabulous and the acqua cotta was delicious. Congratulations.

We had a really good time. We were given a Smart Box gift, so we booked and opted for lunch. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside, the place is welcoming and pleasant. It's well-decorated with just the right number of tables. The food was really good, with limited selection but good quality. The two gentlemen who served us were really nice and helpful. The dishes change weekly, depending on the season and culinary choices. Everything was very good, the "peposo" in particular was truly delicious and flavorful. Rating: 8

Lovely place, great food, very professional

Very nice place, well-maintained, very good food, professional and friendly welcome. We'll be back in the summer to eat on the terrace and in the evening to try the pizza. The meat is excellent 😉

The place is well-kept and welcoming, as is the staff, who are very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a couple and ate lunch: a Va pensiero appetizer, tagliolini with truffle, and spaghetti. The plating was very refined, the flavors good, but the pasta was a bit undercooked. Another point to make is the €3.50 cover charge... It seems excessive when the cover charge doesn't even include a cloth napkin. A bit expensive overall; for the items listed, we spent €75 with water, a glass of wine, and two coffees. Overall, a nice place, a pleasant experience. Just a few comments about the prices and the slightly undercooked pasta.

Nice and familiar atmosphere, excellent food, every course was delicious, service, every waiter was very kind and friendly, prices were reasonable for everyone and perfect, we will definitely return

Day 16 – A Tuscan Dinner to Remember Tonight we treated ourselves to a proper night out — and the best part? Our restaurant was only a five-minute stroll from our accommodation. Naturally, we took the scenic route, wandering through the charming little streets of town. Along the way, we stumbled upon some beautiful local artwork, including a striking Pegasus sculpture by artist Andre Iron that stopped us in our tracks. Tuscany just casually throwing art into the streets like it’s no big deal. We poked our heads into a few quaint little shops before arriving at our dinner spot — Ristorante Va Pensiero which you might remember from my earlier post as the place we grabbed those incredible pizzas on our first night here. Well, we decided to return for the full sit-down experience… and let’s just say, it did not disappoint. We started with a white ragu pici pasta — rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced — followed by truffle pasta that was pure luxury in a bowl. For mains, we shared a perfectly cooked beef fillet with artichoke cream and crispy chips. The staff were so friendly and genuinely warm, which made the whole experience even more special. And because I have zero willpower when it comes to dessert, we took home a serving of their tiramisu… which turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Creamy, light, just the right hit of coffee — absolute perfection. Safe to say, Va’ Pensiero has earned a permanent spot on our Tuscan favourites list.
