Va Mo Là In Bologna

The food was delicious, and Francesca's service was excellent! Without a doubt, we will return on our next trip to Italy.

The best restaurant I have visited in Bologna so far. Attentive and friendly service, very good traditional food and the special thing: the fantastic ambience. Anyone who comes to Bologna should stop here.

Two of us went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Reservations are necessary as the place is often full. Small tables and a room quite full of seats, but still a relaxing atmosphere, also thanks to the good management and furnishings of the place. We ate tortellini in broth, classic lasagna, meatballs filled with tortellini and peas, friggione and concluded with the tenerina cake. This last one was the best dish, truly sublime and with a delicious mascarpone cream. The first courses were good, especially the lasagna, but not superlative (still worth a 4 out of 5). Slight disappointment with the meatballs, slightly hard and not as juicy and tender as we expected (but perhaps tradition predicts them to be that way). Friggione good, perhaps slightly small portion. We didn't take the starter with Bolognese platter because they told us it wouldn't be accompanied by tigelle or crescentine. Good service, with helpful and quick waiters. Overall recommended, nice atmosphere and satisfying food.

Excellent experience, kind and attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere and great value for money. The tagliatelle with ragù is highly recommended, the "welcome Bolognese" appetizer a little less so. The selection of wines is also excellent.

First off the staff was very kind to seat us although we made a mistake with the reservation. We ordered tagliatelle with bolognese ragù and lasagna which were exceptional. However the polpette weren’t surprisingly good, the meatballs were very dry and the sauce was quite acidic. Desert wise, both deserts were overall quite good: the tiramisu was for sure very balanced but the tenerina was quite dry. What definitely was a miss was the service: the plates came one after another with maybe a 5 minute pause in between which felt very rushed and gave us no time to digest and enjoy the atmosphere. We had also ordered a glass of wine each and had to finish it quite fast before dessert.

I just love the atmosphere with the books allaround and the illuminations. The personnel is just adorable and very attentive.

Great experience! We were well welcomed and served. Shared appetizer, a first and second course each plus a shared dessert. High quality, correct price for the proposal. “Wrong” glasses of wine 🤩 nice full glass, unlike other places where you save money. Congratulations for everything. Advised!

The place is nice and the service is good. The portions are small and the dishes don't exactly have the typical Emilian flavours, all in all it can be a good choice without too high expectations. The choice of wines is not wide but of quality. Cutting boards are strongly discouraged.

Lovely decor and atmosphere. Usually busy. We kept passing by during our week there and finally decided to eat there. It was lovely with very friendly staff and good food. Prices are reasonable and the wine by the carafe is good.
