Unfortunately, quality and price do not match. The fried potatoes were some of the worst we've had in Alta Badia so far. We need to improve here!

Nice menu, but really small portions for people who ski, let's say more for tasting. Furthermore, the pasta was also very raw. On the other hand, the price of a first course is somewhat exaggerated compared to much more abundant and tasty dishes that can be found in nearby refuges. Good service.

Interesting menu, especially the savory pancakes which are not common. 4 stars only because I would have liked to find the bathrooms in better conditions

Posto molto bello ma la cena è stata eccellente. Due le cose più buone, la zuppa di gulasch e il tris di canederli…mai provati più buoni! Cortesia e gentilezza sono di casa!! Complimenti anche per le due cameriere con gli occhi chiari, bravissime e molto disponibili. Torneremo sicuramente quest’estate! A presto!

Sia che si vada per un break sulle piste da sci, sia per un pranzo, sia per l'apres ski, sia per una cena, non si rimane insoddisfatti. Buona la qualità e buono il servizio. Da scoprire!

A bit chaotic environment but in my opinion it is the best refuge in the area. Incredible quality food and breathtaking view. My family and I always stop to eat at this place when we go skiing in San Cassino. The gourmet ravioli is absolutely worth trying

Simply fantastic. Fantastically located, with a panoramic view over the Sella, Marmolada and all the Pizes in the other direction. The hut is very modern, the wine selection (expensive) stands out. Nice terrace and even nicer interior. The food was good, high quality and served quickly and friendly. The price is already high. Recommended in winter and summer.

24/12/2024: Nice place, excellent breakfasts also in terms of price/quality. Unfortunately, a waitress wanted me to leave my 10 month old son asleep in the stroller at the entrance of the restaurant (our table was in the central part). When I replied that I certainly wouldn't leave the little one so far away from me and that the stroller would fit perfectly, without inconveniencing other guests and obstructing the passage, the waitress still continued to insist. If I hadn't been with other people I would have left. I finally placed the stroller next to me. The waitress was probably told to leave the strollers at the entrance but I believe that with a modicum of flexibility and empathy there would have been no arguments and bad moods. Sin.
18/12/2024: Great breakfast/brunch. Highly recommended - reservation is an absolute must.

Santnerpasshütte - Rifugio Passo Santner

02/09/2024: The new Sandnerpass Hut is a stunner! It is beautifully situated at around 2700 meters and when you climb up from the via ferrata and see it standing there in the sun you are speechless! The hut is very modern, well equipped and the food and drinks are great! Priced at the top end. But the taste and quality are worth it! The hosts are super nice and very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here
02/09/2024: A masterpiece of geometry and technology which, in my humble opinion, appears perfectly in line with our times and with the future that awaits us. I don't agree with the criticisms at all given that the structure, in addition to being perfectly connected with the color of the environment in which it is located, uses sustainable materials both externally and internally. Let's not forget that a refuge, in addition to offering catering services, must provide shelter in case of emergency and today's dimensions certainly allow it to accommodate more people than before, where places were significantly more limited. As for the service, the strudel was excellent, plentiful and beautifully presented. In Italy, it is always an immense effort to embrace innovation, because sometimes we are too tied to the classic dogmas of tradition!
