Returning to Up Ristorante Enoteca in Velletri after about two years was a very pleasant surprise. I'd been frequenting the place after dinner since 2015.
Well... returning was better than I remembered.
The place is becoming more and more refined, year after year. You can see a constant improvement in the attention to detail and the elegance of the atmosphere.
The welcome was warm from the first moment: they escorted us to the aperitif area and served us bubbles with homemade appetizers, including breadsticks and a freshly baked focaccia—delicious!
A gesture that really struck me was the staff physically opening the menu for you and handing it to you: it's a rare touch these days, but it conveys a sincere care for the guest. The same goes for the bubbles or even the water: they serve it to you, opening the bottle at the table and pouring the first glass for everyone at the table. Details, yes... but they say so much.
The table was set with taste and attention: a simple but clean table setting, and a third chair to put bags or coats. A rare touch that I greatly appreciated.
We ordered an appetizer and a first course: the service was very quick, and the dishes were generous and of high quality. You could really tell the ingredients were carefully selected.
The staff is competent, kind, and attentive. There's a rare continuity, because many of the staff have been working there for years, and you can sense how much they care. They're ready to listen to any feedback and welcome you with a smile.
We didn't order dessert just because we were full... but we'll definitely be back for that too!

Very professional staff, they recommended an amazing local wine, we finished a bottle without regrets 🤣. Honest value for money and in line with the quality of the service, menu and environment. In the restaurant area it was quiet enough to enjoy dinner.

Una vera sorpresa questo ristorante, gestito da giovani intraprendenti. Piatti ricercati, ostriche nazionali e francesi di ottima qualità. Tagliolini al tartufo nero e risotto di ottima qualità. Vini di diverse regioni e cantina ben fornita. Dolci dello chef, artigianali e molto in linea con la qualità dei prodotti serviti. In chiusura un ottimo Rum giamaicano invecchiato 30 anni.

Trendy place!
I went to this place in Velletri for a birthday party. Great location, lots of stuff, a glass terrace overlooking a square, a well-kept and clean atmosphere, frequented by many young people. Some of the appetizers were good (creamed chickpea soup with mushrooms), the picanha was good... the wine cellar was top-notch... the prices weren't exactly cheap... still worth a try.

Very nice place, very well-stocked wine cellar, excellently managed bar, only one small flaw: too rigid on the menu, if the kitchen is up to par, we are the only table at that moment and we ask you for a vegetarian option on the tacos, can the kitchen accommodate me or not?
