Umberto In Napoli

For me looks like typical Neapolitan ristorante. Good atmosphere. Great pizza. Yes i can recomend.

My Roman companion's first time in Naples, we had lunch at Umberto's with my brother, who suggested we make a reservation here. What can I say? An atmosphere that exudes a history of culinary art, with knowledgeable, serious, and helpful staff, and a gracious, courteous, and friendly hostess. We ate quality fish; I personally discovered the authentic Genovese recipe (delicious!), and there's a wide selection of wines to suit all tastes and budgets. Obviously, it's not cheap, but I think you get what you pay for the quality (of food and service)... When everything is perfect, you don't mind the cost! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Naples, wonderful Naples!

I had dinner here and found typical Neapolitan cuisine without gluten, really delicious! They are AIC certified, the staff is kind, helpful and welcoming, I absolutely recommend it and I will return!

We went to Umberto’s upon a friend’s recommendation and we had such a lovely evening. This family restaurant (3rd generation if I’m not mistaken) is proposing classic Napoli’s cuisine with family recipes on the menu. It’s the best food we’ve had in Italy so far: tasty, fresh, delicious! Massimo was very attentive to all guests and did help us select some dishes for the special occasion. The staff was super nice, present yet discreet throughout the diner. I highly recommend and we will return next time we are in Naples.

Ottimo ristorante dove immersi in un mare di colori e un ambiente ricercato sarà possibile degustare la cucina tipica napoletana. Ottima anche la pizza che servono anche a pranzo.

Siamo stati in questo locale ospiti di mia figlia e mio genero che vivono a Napoli e che vengono spesso qui. Un locale a Chiaia elegante ma non spocchioso con un arredamento sobrio e gradevoli e colorati quadri alle pareti. Personale cortese, efficiente ma non invadente. Tempi di attesa del tutto normali. Ho preso il fritto italiano e una pizza verace, tutto molto buono e con buoni prodotti. Anche i dolci, che io non ho preso, erano di buona qualità. Attenzione particolare per i celiaci, praticamente si può mangiare tutto quello che c'è sul menu. I pannelli fonoassorbenti permettono di fare conversazione anche in un ambiente affollato, particolare che per me ha molta importanza quando si va al ristorante anche per passare una serata in compagnia. Non ho pagato io il conto ma dai prezzi sul menu direi che il costo è del tutto in linea con l'ambiente e la qualità.
