I'm from Matera but I've lived outside for many years. I emphasize this because going to Anna's means tasting the TRUE FLAVORS OF LUCAN. Out of this world lasagna, broad beans and chicory, orecchiette turnip tops, fried breadcrumbs and crusco. Braciole, sausages and so on and so forth. It's all stratospheric! Well done and kind ❤️

Such an amazing find. We asked the owner for a platter of the marinated vegetables that he would recommend and he served us a magnificent platter. We also had delicious wine here. Highly recommend for the amazing service (despite us speaking no Italian) and delicious food

Imperdibile. Siamo stati tre giorni a Matera e Uacciardidd è stato tappa obbligata ogni giorno. C'è di tutto e tutto eccellente, genuino e fatto in casa dalla signora Maria. Chiedete al marito le "patate che danno dipendenza": sono semplicemente stratosferiche. Dopo i Sassi, Uacciardidd è stato la scoperta più bella di Matera.

In una splendida Matera, ormai completamente turistica, qs bottega tradizionale offre un assortimento vasto e completo di piatti tipici, cucinati secondo tradizione. Abbiamo mangiato tanto e in modo variato spendendo poco. Fave e cicoria, baccalà in umido, involtini di melanzane, broccoletti gratinati, abbondante selezione di formaggi tipici, pizza barese, pettole, pane e calice di vino.... In tre, 49 euro. Grazieeeee

06/07/2025: Heading to Puglia, we stopped in Tricarico for a relaxing lunch break. The place was simple, quiet, fresh and very clean. We had a delicious cream of broad beans with vegetables for an appetizer (delicious fresh bread made locally), tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and an exquisite sliced ​​veal. The almond and berry semifreddo was also delicious. At the end of lunch, the owner also gave us some fresh water for the journey, which turned out to be providential given the 42 degrees in Basilicata and an accident that extended the journey. We thank the owner and recommend a stop in the beautiful village of Tricarico at Zi'Rocc
