U Cicci In Finale ligure

After years of not being able to eat focaccia, I stumbled upon this place, which serves a variety of focaccias, including gluten-free ones. I tried the cheese version and the regular one: incredible! They were just as I remembered. Thank you so much! For those with a sweet tooth, they also have coconut, hazelnut, and almond cookies, all gluten-free. P.S. You need to call the day before to reserve the gluten-free focaccia. I also recommend reserving the farinata because it sells out quickly (also gluten-free).

Excellent Ligurian focaccia, both the plain one and the various other types including the red one and the one from Recco.

I stopped in Final Pia during a walk along the seafront; this place has a traditional feel. Delicious focaccias, pizzas, and savory pastries. There's also a self-service area near the bakery.

Stopped by for a picnic lunch. Super friendly staff and very good food 😋 Maybe the plain focaccia was a little too oily but the flavor was top notch!

I'm supposedly coming to Finale Ligure to bike, but in reality, it's for the delicious treats at U Cicci ;), a permanent fixture on the agenda. All good!

I am usually not a big fan of focaccia, with the only real exception being Genoa where this dish originally comes from. This place is the closest I have found to that authentic Genoese taste and it instantly brought back the best memories. I could not resist and went back several times just to grab more of their amazing focaccia. The ladies working there are absolutely lovely, always happy to recommend what to try and what is fresh and delicious that day. You can easily spot this place by the long line outside and the incredible smell you will not forget anytime soon
