A delightful restaurant. Intimate, tastefully and wittyly decorated, with a welcoming, family atmosphere. We ate wonderfully and were completely satisfied with everything.

We had dinner last night at this delightful restaurant. The atmosphere was very welcoming and refined, and the food was excellent, using high-quality ingredients and very fresh fish. The food was cooked according to Sicilian tradition. We were delighted to meet the chef and enjoyed the glass-fronted open kitchen. Highly recommended!

The two of us were looking for authentic Sicilian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, and we found exactly that at Babbio. The chef gave us a friendly welcome and suggested a menu of various appetizers, taking our tastes into account (the restaurant's focus seems to be on fish and seafood, which I don't particularly like, but my partner does). We were treated to a truly diverse selection of delicacies; I don't think I've ever tasted so many different flavors at once! The "main course" was fresh pasta with ragù, which tasted truly sensational. But the best thing, besides the fantastic food, was the warmth of the chef and her daughter Francesca, with whom we chatted outside the restaurant over a glass of wine between courses. A truly wonderful experience!

A restaurant dedicated to fish. We had a six-course tasting menu with local dishes. The tuna tartare was incredibly delicious. Seasoned with lemon juice and lemon zest. The young waitress was very, very friendly and told a story about each dish. Not exactly cheap, but the best meal we had in Palermo.

08/09/2025: Exceptional food, a fabulous setting, and an enchanting atmosphere! We celebrated our wedding at the villa, and the collaboration was always very professional and inspiring. All our wishes were taken seriously and fulfilled. During the wedding, everything was perfect; the staff was very attentive and courteous, and the entire event was a great success. We highly recommend Villa Boscogrande for weddings or other events such as birthdays or confirmations. A big thank you for this unforgettable memory. We will be back. A big hug. Nancy & Nino

Caffe Solaire

02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent
