Great atmosphere and lovely food, the service a bit of a hit and miss, definitely not as good as it should be with me having to prompt the staff for suggestions! Their house wine is super good and great value for money for a Morellino. Pappardelle are good and so is the pecorino with truffle. The tagliata was ok. Expensive for what it is hence the overall rating

Truly excellent restaurant in Capalbio. The first courses are delicious, and the rare meat is also very well done. Prices are a little high, but worth it. Recommended!

After about 20 years of "going there," I can say that "they never miss a beat." After another 6 years, I can say that "they always hit the mark." The Easter menu demonstrated a commitment to the selection of dishes and a mature interpretation of tradition. All this was accompanied by a courtesy and professionalism in the dining room that made everyone feel at home. WELL DONE TO GASPARE AND GIANMARIA (alphabetical order). ... Today, August 20, 25, I feel the need to update this review to highlight a "small" dish interpreted with skill and imagination: a fantastic PAPPA AL POMODORO!!!

Dinner with friends at this magical restaurant with a beautiful view of the Maremma Grossetana. Excellent food cooked by Tullio and one of his sons. Impeccable table service.

The food was very good, the place and atmosphere were very nice, but it was a shame about the service and the €4.50 cover charge per person. It was full of pots and pans.

Excellent! Delicious food, we had pappa al pomodoro, crostini, wild boar cacciatore, Tullio's soup, gnocchi, and a trio of artichokes—everything was better than the last! The service was excellent. The wine list was varied and well-rounded. The host was very kind and friendly, and the waiters were very courteous, professional, and fast. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant. 5 stars overall, I highly recommend it!

Ristorante molto valido, location curata sia sala interna sia la veranda, ( bel tovagliato ) Abbiamo degustato piatti della tradizione toscana, cucinati con prodotti di alta qualità ! ( locale no per turisti mordi e fuggi) Acquacotta buona e pappa al pomodoro ottima … Dolce al cioccolato niente di performante ma magari abbiamo sbagliato a scegliere … prezzo adeguato al livello del locale.

Abbiamo pranzato sulla veranda che si affaccia sulla vallata che porta al mare. Non spenderó molte parole sulla qualità del cibo. Non ne ha bisogno. Abbiamo preso dei tagliolini al ragu di cinghiale e gli gnocchi al tartufo. Poi il cinghiale in umido, i carciofi fritti e per finire un semifreddo. Tutto ottimo. L’unica cosa che a me non piace è l’acqua microfiltrata.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a gourmet break in such a charming setting. The cuisine is typical of the Maremma region, with dishes freshly prepared and made with high-quality ingredients. We sampled the Maremma-style tripe, a dish rich in flavor and tradition, and the pici all'aglione, which were equally delicious. Both dishes were prepared with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating the passion and expertise of the kitchen. A touch of class we appreciated was the coffee, served directly at the table in a moka pot, a detail that made the experience even more special. In short, La Tana dei Brilli is a must-visit for those who want to enjoy authentic Maremma cuisine in a welcoming and authentic setting. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: I had a wonderful experience at Osteria Mangiapane in Alberese. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with a real Tuscan charm that makes you feel immediately welcome. The food is excellent – fresh, traditional, and full of flavour. Each dish is prepared with care and highlights the quality of local ingredients. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes or wines to pair with your meal. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and really feel the spirit of Maremma. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Alberese or the surrounding area.
