Ristorante molto valido, location curata sia sala interna sia
la veranda, ( bel tovagliato )
Abbiamo degustato piatti della tradizione toscana, cucinati con prodotti di alta qualità ! ( locale no per turisti mordi e fuggi) Acquacotta buona e pappa al pomodoro ottima …
Dolce al cioccolato niente di performante ma magari abbiamo sbagliato a scegliere …
prezzo adeguato al livello del locale.

Good restaurant in the fortress. Which has now been transformed into a mega refreshment area. Not the nicest location but considering the value for money the most sincere. Tullio soup is very good. A little perplexed about the drizzle of cream in the truffle tagliatelle.

After about 20 years of "dating" I can say that "they never miss a beat". After another 6 years I can say that they "always hit the mark"; the Easter menu showed a commitment to the choice of dishes and a mature interpretation of tradition. All accompanied by a courtesy and professionalism in the dining room that makes everyone sit at the table "at home". WELL DONE TO GASPARE AND GIANMARIA (alphabetical order).

A restaurant with a capital R... a pleasure to come back and every time it's a pleasure to go. Attentive service, excellent food... I don't know how they make the artichoke batter... but it's special! Excellent rabbit... perhaps only good with dessert. Always recommended

Abbiamo pranzato sulla veranda che si affaccia sulla vallata che porta al mare.
Non spenderó molte parole sulla qualità del cibo. Non ne ha bisogno.
Abbiamo preso dei tagliolini al ragu di cinghiale e gli gnocchi al tartufo. Poi il cinghiale in umido, i carciofi fritti e per finire un semifreddo. Tutto ottimo.
L’unica cosa che a me non piace è l’acqua microfiltrata.

My first time in Capalbio, and I relied on Google and its reviews. I have to say I have rarely been better in a restaurant.
First of all, it must be said that at dinner they are organized in two shifts. However, I suggest booking the first shift and arriving 5 minutes early (with all due respect to latecomers).
Arriving first, we were welcomed and served promptly and promptly.
Among the starters I would like to point out the smoked beef carpaccio, light and stimulating. Then we tried the Zuppa Tullio, a house specialty suitable for the autumn climate, which enchanted us. The second most intriguing is the grilled suckling pig, which we tried with battered and fried porcini mushrooms. Excellent combination. For dessert I tried the Tullio ice cream, which combines the aromas of Sage and Morellino.
Everything was spectacular and I confess that throughout the dinner I tried things I had never tasted before (and I'm a man of the world).
In conclusion, the bill was fair and partly facilitated by the agreement with our hotel, which gave us a 10% discount.
Not only do I recommend it but I plan to return to try the rest of the menu: 5 stars absolutely deserved.
