We stopped for lunch. The place is very close to the center. We were just unlucky enough to be at a small table, but that was only because it was crowded, and they were kind enough to seat us, so we accepted. Exceptional food. Average prices.

Our food was really great. The waitress was very nice. The apple cake was incredibly good.

Excellent little restaurant right next to the church of Santi Medici. It's a lovely, traditional setting with a single room seating a maximum of fifty people. Prices are average, and the wait staff is always very kind and attentive (especially the head waiter). We opted for the €35 tasting menu (which wasn't widely advertised), which was truly comprehensive, with a generous traditional appetizer, a choice of two first courses, and a slice of meat, plus water, service charge, and coffee. The chef/owner was also very present, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. I disagree with the reviewer who claimed you couldn't split the bill with two credit cards; we did so without any problem. And the reviewers who mentioned insistence on offering dishes different from those chosen were not pressured, but rather made kind suggestions. Final rating: 8/10

We enjoyed a few dishes that were as good as home made. The polpette di Nonna tasted just like my grandmother's! Our server was very nice.

We made a reservation which is recommended. Nice evening out on the terrace. Food and service were great. I had the grilled prawns, which were flavoured and grilled to perfection. My wife had the entrecôte which she also enjoyed. Beware the cheese and meat platter entré. It is huge. Table of 4 next to us dud not finish their mains after sharing one, and a table of 2 next to us had it packed for takeaway. It is a meal on its own and good value. After reading so many bad reviews of restaurants in Alberobello, we were amazed at the quality and price here. €50 for 2 mains and wine.
