Tropical Ristorante Pizzeria In Letojanni

Our favorite lido in Tropea for years. The beach is clean, beach shoes are recommended due to the rocks, and the lifeguard (bagnino) is quite helpful. The restaurant is located right on the small promenade, overlooking the sea. Very friendly, attentive staff, especially Marije, deserves a special mention. The food is good, the wine is tasty. The daily specials change. There's some parking available. Conclusion: We'd love to come back!

The location of the restaurant is great, next to the sea. A couple of tables offer an unforgettable view of the sunset. The service is excellent. The only downside is that I didn't like the food (or rather one dish that I ordered - a plate of seafood). The wine and coffee are delicious.

The restaurant is charming and welcoming, with a pleasant location, although it's probably more popular at lunchtime. I expected it to be right on the seafront, like a lido, but in reality it's a semi-closed place. We had a reservation for 9:40 PM, and despite a slight delay communicated over the phone, the staff reassured us that there would be no problems. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy. We ordered a mixed appetizer to share, fried calamari (also shared), and two first courses. There's nothing to complain about about the appetizer or the fried dishes: quality food and fresh ingredients. The first courses also had excellent ingredients, and the pasta was cooked al dente; the only flaw was a bit too much salt. It should be noted that one of the first courses included zucchini flowers, but the waiter came to tell us they were out of stock. We chose that dish anyway, especially since, as for fish-based first courses, there wasn't much choice beyond what we'd ordered. The bill came to €82. Perhaps, given the small inconvenience with the zucchini flowers, we would have appreciated a small, symbolic discount, even if only a couple of euros. In any case, the place is generally recommended.

A truly beautiful and well-kept location, the staff were kind and courteous, but above all, the food was truly delicious. Fresh fish and unusual pairings. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

A lovely, quiet and welcoming beach, with a bar overlooking the beautiful Costa degli Dei, where you'll want to enjoy an aperitivo. I booked an umbrella and two lounge chairs all day for just €33 (front row). Surprisingly, I found parking outside (white lines). The food was excellent and completely satisfied, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We discovered it by pure chance, but now that we've been coming to Tropea on holiday for years (we're from Turin), it's our go-to place. Francesco, the owner, and his wife are kind and friendly, extremely helpful, as are all the staff. Nothing is left to chance, from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. I highly recommend it, and as far as I'm concerned, it will be "our" beach for many years to come!! 5 stars aren't enough.

We had a lovely dinner with tasty dishes at a reasonable price, and excellent service. I recommend it for a dinner overlooking the sea at sunset with Stromboli as a backdrop, with beautiful dishes and excellent service.
