Nice place with good food. Mainly friendly staff. Very nice owner. The place is very characteristic. It could perhaps be modernized a bit but it is not easy because it would perhaps lose that aura of an old trattoria. The risottos are good. The service in this case was very slow. But the place was super full so the delay in service was also justified

Old-fashioned hotel, large rooms with wooden floors (very creaky) but well furnished, breakfast with little choice and little mark-up, but surrounded by greenery a stone's throw from the lake and the Swiss border. Average price for tourist areas.

The place is nice and the staff is friendly! But our experience wasn't exactly great, we were placed in a square table where we almost couldn't talk to each other! The choice of risottos was practically mandatory (the one decided by the chef for the day) Anyway, as I always say, you have to try it for yourself so I recommend it!

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per il pranzo di Pasqua. Menù con antipasto, due primi e a scelta il secondo carne/pesce. Antipasto gradevole e abbondante. Risotto alle fragole dal gusto particolare che non ci ha convinti, mentre i ravioli ad alcuni commensali sono arrivati senza il ripieno. Capretto non molto saporito, e in alcuni punti non cotto del tutto. Per quanto riguarda il servizio molto rapido e preciso. La location curata è caratteristica in mezzo alla Valganna. Vino buono, ma non hanno pensato a portarci la glacette per mantenere il vino al fresco. Prezzo del menú nella media, 65€ cadauno.

Straordinario antipasto vegetariano ed ottimi salumi. Risotti nella tradizione me anche alcuno molto fantasiosi. Tutto davvero eccellente Personale gentile e preparato Merita davvero un passaggio!!

06/05/2025: Great Atmosphere & Friendly Service! The restaurant has a wonderful vibe and the staff were exceptionally friendly, which really made the experience enjoyable. While the food was just okay this time, there’s definitely potential for improvement. One thing to note—if you’re a garlic lover, you might find the flavors a bit mild, as the chef doesn’t use garlic in Spaghetti a la vangole and was tasting too much olive oil / butter. Still, it’s a great place with room to grow, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves!
17/04/2025: Historic restaurant in the center of Ponte Tresa, beautifully furnished, excellent traditional Italian dishes with interesting and innovative foreign incursions, attentive service. The serving temperature of the wines needs to be reviewed. Found it by chance, we will never forget it, congratulations!

12/05/2025: Known because we had coupons we liked it... took a platter of excellent quality cold cuts... it offers a lot of choice... hamburger squares and of course beers of all types... it also has a table outside... recommended
