Hotel restaurant, location stuck in the 1970s, large windows... so not hot. But polite, courteous service, and... you go for an excellent risotto... different flavors, all delicious! At the entrance to the stairs, unfortunately, under the flower box (eye level) many, many cigarette butts in plain sight... not a pretty sight!

I enjoyed the service and location of the 3 risottos after a meeting with local Lancista friends! The historic setting is well-kept and welcoming. The room is excellent, well-finished, furnished, clean, and very warm and welcoming! The dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with quality ingredients, dishes cooked with passion, and friendly, professional service! Dog-friendly! 5 stars for everything!

Excellent, historic, and renowned Varese restaurant. Recommended especially for its divine risottos, the setting is that of a historic residence, very well maintained, so if you're a fan of modern or industrial style, this isn't for you. 😄

Unique atmosphere (both in summer with the beautiful outdoor terrace and in autumn and winter with the warm and welcoming dining rooms). The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The risottos are amazing in every version (Barolo and fondue, porcini mushrooms, speck and rosemary...) and the meats (especially the ossobuco) are delicious. We've been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure! Prices: below average for the quality offered... BRAVISVERI!

16/01/2026: If I were to give a 5 out of 5 rating only to Michelin-starred restaurants, I wouldn't be doing justice to a restaurant like this, where I found everything I'd always love to find. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were truly friendly (even nice), and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef and his charming wife, who 'fills the room.' I happened upon it because I had lunch with a work friend who knew it, and I booked dinner directly for my dad's birthday, a foodie. Massimiliano De Nisi (Mazzola)
13/12/2025: A curious place; the dialect name would seem to imply traditional Lombard dishes, but the menu is essentially seafood. Very good dishes and generous portions. Prices are a bit high, but quality comes at a cost.
