Me and my wife were in Florence for our anniversary and we stumbled upon this restaurant and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere and the food did not disappoint! The service is top there and they are super friendly and made us feel at home to the point where we came three nights in a row. I highly recommend whether you’re looking for great pasta, steak, and pizza since we got to try a little bit of everything! Stop in for a drink and some food you won’t regret it!

Tre Merli is a great place to eat! Calm and relaxing environment, spacious, and amazing food. Adelina was our server and is lovely! We can hear 3 nights in a row and tried something new each time. I recommend the Chardonnay and Florentine Steak. But we also had pizza, pasta, clams/mussels, and tiramisu. They have something for everyone. If you decide to eat here and Adelina is your server, tell her that Emily & Cassidy from Florida, recommends you come here! ;) ciao!

Massimo, the owner, knows how to combine fish and meat dishes according to his taste and organizational skills! I highly recommend him.

Very simple, with quality cuisine, the food is excellent... however, they sell you tap water for €4 a bottle, which is... annoying when elsewhere you can get bottled mineral water.

November 2025. Not recommended at all. The Pennette Spinach didn't taste like spinach despite having a lot of sauce, and the pasta was undercooked and under-salted. The Tagliatelle Ragù was bland. The Spaghetti Scoglio contained a single large, defrosted prawn, a langoustine head (which seemed to have been in another dish), and quite a few squid and clams that were closed. After this, we didn't dare try the desserts. We went in because the waiter on duty convinced us, and he was very friendly, but they really need to change the chef.

The pizza was prepared quickly, the Aperol was served quickly. It was delicious and cozy! The pizza that was not finished - they packed with them without any problems!

First meal in Florence - wanted a pizza - Calabrese and Quattro Stagione - both excellent!! Friendly staff. Read some mixed reviews afterwards, but we were certainly more than happy with our fayre

Stumbled on this restaurant looking for something other than pizza, found this place and had the seafood pasta which was the best meal we’ve had in Italy so far on our vacation. Worth it!
