Very welcoming and nice atmosphere. Excellent food that offers typical traditional dishes of great quality. Excellent wine list. Particular attention is paid to both the bread, accompanied by excellent focaccia and carasau bread, and the small pastries to close the meal.

Excellent attention. We ate very well and the prices were appropriate. After eating they gave us some cookies to accompany the coffee and a jar of jelly beans as a final touch. Verónica and Valentina were very warm. I recommend 100%

One of my favorite places! Well-kept place, very kind and attentive staff and excellent food with top raw materials. Mrs. Franca's fresh pasta is absolutely worth trying, but the rest of the menu will not disappoint either.

Abbiamo mangiato con mia moglie a pranzo di martedì, in un ambiente tranquillo, con un servizio di sincera gentilezza. È stato davvero un piacere sia per il palato che per la presenza in sala di Valentina. Abbiamo assaggiato un antipasto (il vitello tonnato), due primi squisiti (i tajiarin al ragù e gli gnocchi al blu) e un secondo (la guancia col purè), che sono stati anticipati da una caponatina deliziosa. Abbiamo quindi concluso con due dolci altrettanto buoni, il tutto accompagnato da un Dolcetto della zona molto piacevole a pranzo. Posto assolutamente consigliato.

Una perla nascosta a Canale (CN). Nostra terza visita dopo avere scoperto questo ristorante da una 30ina di posti in sala, ben arredato e molto curato, con una cucina del territorio eccellente con un rapporto qualità/prezzo tra i migliori da me trovati. Domenica a pranzo abbiamo iniziato con un eccellente Amuse-bouche, una caponatina fredda con crumble di grissini, antipasto da non perdere un vitello tonnato dal sapore unico e di secondo coniglio in umido con purè di patate ben cucinato e con un fondo di cottura saporito ad accompagnare il piatto. In tavola grissini fatti a mano e sfoglia di pane, con focaccina calda portata con l'amuse-bouche. Un calice di vino, caffè e acqua, per una spesa a persona di circa 35 euro. Servizio veloce e cortese. Un posto da tornarci e tornarci più volte.

13/05/2025: Capitato a Bra per un lavoro, tramite un amico del posto ho avuto BATTAGLINO come ristorante consigliato, parcheggio auto abbastanza vicino, per capire dove era ho aguzzato la vista , non è che si veda benissimo l entrata, il locale pulito ed accogliente, ha interno ed esterno, gestori gentili e preparati, mi hanno fatto sentire a mio agio. Abbiamo provato 2 antipasti, 2 primi e 2 dolci, si sentiva che le materie prime sono di qualità, devo dire che lo consiglierei. Il caffè servito con quei dolcini, fantastico! Spesa nella norma per i piatti avuti Bravi

01/05/2025: B&B in the heart of the upper Maira Valley. Easy to reach. Corrado, Grazia and Roberta hosted us with genuine courtesy. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable even if a little "dated". Breakfast is offered as a buffet. We were very moved by the old notary's house from which a couple of guest rooms and the breakfast room were created with original pieces of furniture, including brick ones, such as the food warmer with embers; traces of frescoes from the period were brought to light and the original beams of the attics with the interposed tuff ashlars were cleaned. Really nice SPA area although I haven't tried it. The excursions on site are very beautiful even if the paths are not always well signposted. To have dinner you can go down to the village - about 800 m. - where Roberta offers the best traditional local dishes served by always friendly staff. Thank you again for making us perceive the bond that binds you to your community and your land. I recommend it to hikers and those who love the villages of the Maira Valley.
